Rosehill Youth Theatre is a theatre for children in West Cumbria. We provide a safe environment for children of allabilities to come together to learn to sing, dance and act. Through performing arts, advance in life and help young people from all backgrounds.

Provision of public swimming baths at Wigton Cumbria

CDEC PROVIDES TEACHING RESOURCES, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING FOR SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITY GROUPS IN CUMBRIA. THIS INCLUDES GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP, SCHOOL LINKING, MULTICULTURAL EDUCATION, OUTDOOR LEARNING, CHALLENGING PREJUDICE AND RACISM, CRITICAL THINKING AND ENQUIRY.

Personal development opportunity for young people utilising outdoor adventure activity, sport and Youth work. The Project serves West Cumbria and works in partnership with schools and other organisations as well as our own Youth Club and Adventure Group.

Support the disadvantaged and disabled through activities, training and volunteering opportunities. Manage the gardens and grounds as a public park for the enjoyment of the whole community. Organise a programme of cultural and social events. Operate and manage community facilities, food growing and education programmes in order to meet the needs of local people and visitors to Ulverston.

We aspire to help young people find and develop their creative passions, empathy, well-being and friendship groups through a calendar of inspiring, creative workshops, short courses and events. These are open to all secondary school age children (11-18) and are offered for free. We operate in the Lancaster, Morecambe in Lancashire and Kendal in Cumbria.

Mountain Rescue Team in south west lake district. We provide search and rescue services to those lost or injured in wild and remote areas. We provide support via the police or ambulance service.

PAC provides therapeutic interventions for young people aged 6 to 25 presenting with emotional, interpersonal and mental health problems and challenges often with associated learning disability. By delivering this preventative work young people address their problems before they escalate, they re-engage into education or employment and live more positive lives within society.

Grant giving

The 3R Foundation raises funds for local small charities, community groups and clubs in the North Lancashire and South Cumbria area through the 3R Charity shop in Carnforth

Advancement of the Christian faith through a local church . Relief of poverty though a wide range of social action projects

Providing acts of Christian worship conforming to URC and Methodist traditions throughout South West Cumbria. Engaging in mission activities both within South West Cumbria and overseas.

We promote social inclusion, equality and diversity and prevent or relieve poverty for those excluded from society, or parts of society, as a result of discrimination or disadvantage on the grounds of race or ethnic origin, including those with refugee or immigrant status. We operate in Penrith, Cumbria and the surrounding area.

Art and Crafts, Cafe and catering for events, and learning and training support (e.g. learning to use computers and the internet). Provision of space to local community groups and other organisations. Projects and activities surrounding social isolation and community engagement along with other issues where identified and appropriate.

To preserve for the General Public an aviation museum providing information, education and preservation of our historic collection of British Jet Aircraft and the aviation heritage from Cumbria and the surrounding area.

St John's and St Peter's exists to maintain and proclaim the Christian faith in accordance with the doctrine of the Church of England as revealed in the Holy Bible. All activity seeks to support this aim and as such we work with people of all ages and in partnership with home and overseas mission agencies.

RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES

SLAM CDT PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR THE LOCAL COMMUNITY TO ENGAGE IS SPORTING, CULTURAL ACTIVITIES AS WELL AS PROVIDING MEETING SPACES. SLAM CDT ALSO OPERATE A COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMME TO PROVIDE HEALTH FITNESS AND EDUCATION TO YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY. SLAM CDT ALSO OPERATE A COMMUNITY TRANSPORT OPERATION

The Trust was established in 1974 after the 10.6 acres of land was bequeathed to the Town Council from the Estate of Sir Percy Hope OBE.JP. The Trust object is the provision of a pleasure ground and garden for recreation and enjoyment for the inhabitants of, and visitors to, the town of Keswick and neighbourhood.

Providing sport and leisure activities to under privileged and disabled young people throughout the north west.

To provide a community transport service for the inhabitants of Cumberland, Westmorland and Furness who are in need of such service because of youth,age, sickness, disability, poverty or lack of availability of adequate and safe public passenger services.

To enhance the development and Education of children under statutory school age by encouraging parents to understand and provide for the needs of their children through the provision of Nursery and Parent/toddler group.

Work with young people aged 16-25 years of age who are homeless or experiencing housing & related issues by the provision of advice, support and accommodation
