The vast majority of the funds in this account relate to funding we receive from our Diocese to use for capital building works in and around the school and spending on computers. The rest is school uniform related/fund raising by pupils for charitable causes/school parties/small donations etc.

Conserve red squirrels by feeding,improving habitat and advising on timing of timber operations to avoid breeding season. Controlling grey squirrels in north east Cumbria. Educating the public on the best ways of doing this and to the threat of squirrel pox and tree damage as a result of grey squirrels.

Sponsored events, collections, raffles, auctions, fetes and various other fundraising activities to support the work of the school, education of the children of the school and to foster a spirit of cooperation between the school, parents and the local community.

Moore Arts: Millom was established to promote and advance involvement, participation and access to the performing arts and associated art forms, especially for young people, in the North West of England but primarily in Cumbria and in particular, Millom and it?s surrounding areas. We offer a range of activities for ages 2+ including drama, dance, drumming, technical theatre and many more.

The charity is largely funded by donations and/or legacies received from patients, their relatives, and the general public and other organisations. The overall strategy of the Charity is to provide support via:Patients expenditure & Staff expenditure. Purchase of small items of equip and provision of services & facilities for patients. Purchase of staff education and to improve staff wellbeing.

We are a voluntary Committee led Pre - Nursery providing education in the EYFS for children 2-4 years.

We are a nursery offering day care Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 5pm (term time only) in Ulverston Cumbria, for children aged 2 years, up to 4 years. Breakfast Club and After School Club is available for children attending nursery and the adjacent Primary School.

Religious activities

Be Me Project provides support for a wide spectrum of people ranging from young people in secondary school to younger women within our communities. It delivers courses and one to one sessions that encourage positive mental wellbeing, confident mind-sets, inspiring people to be uniquely themselves and raising levels of self esteem and resilience.

The Whitehaven Foyer Company aims to offer accomodation and activities to inspire young people in West Cumbria.

BEEP Doctors is a charity providing enhanced pre-hospital emergency medical care to people in Cumbria.Our team of doctors are on call 24/7, attending serious incidents including road traffic collisions, farming accidents and other life threatening emergencies. BEEP covers all of Cumbria from Whitehaven in the West, Brampton in the East, North to the Scottish Borders and South to Barrow-in-Furness.

The charity promotes the science, practice and art of horticulture with special reference to the conditions pertaining in the Lake District. It also aims to promote and facilitate co-operation between horticultural organisations and serve the interests of all horticulturalists.

Rookhow is a 300 year old Grade II* listed Quaker Meeting House and Bunkbarn in the Rusland Valley, Cumbria. Our aim, as well as providing a gathering place for Quakers and accommodation especially for disadvantaged groups, is to be a local community resource as a venue for meetings and workshops. The surrounding ancient oak woodland is a valuable resource for learning and retreat.

Provides sheltered accommodation for those over 60 years of age. There are 3 categories of eligibility including Christian scientists and those who have resided in the S. Lakeland district for at least 15 years.

Cumbria Federation of Young Farmers Clubs is a democratic Youth Organisation with 25 Clubs around Cumbria. We encourage personal development through a huge programme of competitions, training and management skills.
