We have three aims, Enjoying God from his word, Loving one another, Sharing Gods word so that others enjoy him. The church supports Christian mission in local and national contexts and poverty relief in the UK and abroad.

Spring Mount Christian Fellowship (SMCF) is an independent Christian church family based in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria. Activities include Sunday worship services and various other regular activities for all age ranges, all designed to reach others for Christ, teach people about Christ, grow people in Christ and send people for Christ.

Support of disadvantaged students at Ullswater Community College enabling them to take part in extra-curricular activities organised by the College.Donations to other Charities are made from funds raised by students as part of their Citizenship studies.Awards to students who have worked diligently to achieve outstanding work.Awarding bursaries to gifted and talented students.

Relief of renal related illnesses and the funding of research and education in renal disease, transplantation and allied fields together with the provision of direct patient amenities

To provide sheltered housing for elderly people in a safe environment with support and advice if required. Organise appropriate social activities for their well being.

We are a purely voluntary organisation. The people who greet you in the lodge and take your money and set up the equipment for you are all members who have volunteered, as are the ground staff, club officers and our highly-trained team of instructors.

The Objects of the Company shall be the educational, physical, social and spiritual well being of deaf, deafened, hard of hearing and Deafblind (hereinafter referred to as deaf) people of all ages and their families mainly but not exclusively in the county of Cumbria.

The Kendal Methodist Circuit is part of the Cumbria Methodist District. The Circuit supports Methodist Churches in Kendal and the surrounding area in their mission and outreach.

Aspatria Dreamscheme is a Youth & Community Development Charity who deliver several different project in the heart of the town. We offer sessions for young people, vulnerable women, men in sheds, hobbyshare, a community food pantry and many other activities throughout the school holiday periods. We are soon to open our community kitchen and arts and craft center.

Our aim is to raise awareness of visual impairment through training packages. The package product gives a simulation of various eye conditions and the difficulties faced by visual impaired people in their everyday living. We also aim to assist visually impaired people living in the North East of England by awarding grants twice a year.

The Museum exists to collect, document, preserve and interpret the material evidence and associated information relating to the Regiment's History from 1702 to the present day, for public benefit to the best standards for the education and enjoyment of the inhabitants of Cumbria, North Lancashire, present and former members of the Regiment and their families and visitors present and future

As per existing Trust deed. Activity is now focussed on providing grants to run the Bethany Orphanage in Tanzania for the welfare of children who were once either orphaned, abandoned or abused and providing education where possible.

Teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses & small groups. Pastoral work including visiting the sick & bereaved. Taking religious assemblies in local schools. Promoting the whole mission of the church (& aiding social cohesion) through activities for older people, parents and toddlers & other specific need groups. Maintaining and providing affordable housing

ICANN provide information and advocacy services across Lancashire. We support vulnerable people to give them a voice, empower, increase resilience, and improve their lives. Current projects include financial inclusion, advocacy for disability related benefits, in some areas we have a form filling service for benefits. ICANN also provide advocacy support at medical assessments, benefit tribunals

South Whitehaven Youth Partnership aims to provide neighbourhood youth work activities to provide informal education; develop the skills and opportunities of young people; provide advice, information and practical support helping young people to make informed decisions about their lives.
