Youth club. Promotion of Christianity through events & meetings & literature and through activities for senior citizens, parent & toddlers & other special need groups. Supporting other charities.

Church Activities, Christian Worship

Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.

We primarily offer art/leisure and support activities to children and young people in the Allerdale area. We are also actively involved in offering leisure, art, heritage and community activities to the local community through the additional groups using our building.

The charity is largely funded by donations and/or legacies received from patients, their relatives, and the general public and other organisations. The overall strategy of the Charity is to provide support via:Patients expenditure & Staff expenditure. Purchase of small items of equip and provision of services & facilities for patients. Purchase of staff education and to improve staff wellbeing.

The Charity was created to support primary health care and community health programmes in the Thane district of Mumbai, and elsewhere in India. The medical and community and faith based programmes are conducted through a registered Indian charity operating as the Bethany Trust.

To advance the education of children and young people by such means as the charity trustees think fit and, in particular but without limitation by; a) providing necessary facilities for the daily care, recreation and education of children during out of school hoursb) advancing education in the provision of such care, education and recreational facilities; c) enhancing community links.

The Trust benefits communities within North Yorkshire, Teesside and Cumbria. The aims are: to help educate & develop young people, particularly those with phyical, learning, & mental health problems; disadvantaged groups; the conservation & improvement of the natural environment; to address the challenges of rural communities and any other charitable purposes considered oppropriate at the time.

To create opportunities for more girls and adults to be part of The Guide Movement and to sustain an enjoyable and challenging programme of activities based on The Guiding Method

Pre School Nursery which operates in Dalston Carlisle.

To promote the Christian Faith for the public benefit and it seeks to do this through Meetings and other activities promoted by the Leaders of King's Church, within the wide range of objectives in Clause 2 of its Constitutuion.

The activities of our association are to advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by:- developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school- engaging in activities and providing facilities and/or requipment which will support the school and advance the education of the pupils

Age Concern Appleby & District have two shops in the town. both run entirely by volunteers. We have no paid staff what so ever and all money raised, after expenses, rates, rents etc is given to local charities and groups which help and care for older people in the Appleby District.

(1) The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation by the provision of facilities for playing Real Tennis.public (2) To conserve, preserve and improve for the public benefit as buildings of historic interest the Real Tennis Court and house at Matthew Bank, Newcastle upon Tyne NE2 3RE and to educate the public about the history and heritage of the buildings.

We provide therapeutic services to children and young people aged 4-18

The Cobweb Orchestra operates as a community orchestra for all abilities and ages. The Cobweb Orchestra aims to advance, improve, develop and maintain public eduction in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects.

TO MAINTAIN IN GOOD REPAIR AND GOOD CONDITION HELENA THOMPSON MUSEUM AND PURCHASING ANTIQUES OR ARTICLES OF LOCAL INTEREST FOR THE MUSEUM

CAH provide low cost activity holidays for 12 to 17 yr olds. Each year, in school summer holidays, we hire Bassenfell Manor Christian Centre and run four consecutive weeks each attended by approx. 40 young people.Campers do a range of activities (eg:Sailing; Kayaking; Mountain Walking etc) as well as Bible studies. The cost to those able to pay is £350 per wk however weeks are free when necessary.

Organise Christian arts festivals incorporating all forms of all artistic expression by Christian artists (including, but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, music, drama, dance, painting and sculpture) with the aim of using artisitic expression to spread the Christian gospel.

Animal Welfare Activities in West CumbriaCaring for Animals, providing veterinary care, fostering and rehoming services, RSPCA Inspectors bring us animals for care, mainly due to cruelty or abandonment issues, we also provide care and financial support for animals belonging to Cumbrian people who need help to provide routine care and emergency treatment and supply pet food to local Food Banks.

We encourage children to achieve their full potential physically, emotionally and intellectually, irrespective of their sex, race, ability, religious and social background. We provide a safe, stimulating environment where children can develop as active learners so that they may start primary school as happy, considerate and enquiring pupils. Parental input to childrens education is encouraged.
