A hall located at the entrance to Rockcliffe Village offering facilities for a range of activities. These includeone off bookings for parties, weddings, village and family events, coffee mornings, table top sales, together with regular bookings for classes such as dancing, baby play events, other fitness and indoor sports for adults, school events, art and dog training classes.

Advancement of education for young people in the Howgill and Sedbergh area of Cumbria

ORGANISE THE UP KEEP OF PLAYING FIELD, PLAY EQUIPMENT AND THE HERON HALLPROVIDE A VENUE FOR LOCAL EVENTSEVENTS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR CHARITY'S MAIN AIMS

Provides self-catering accommodation for groups, in the Lake District. This is primarily for young people from the Bury area. Bookings are also taken for other groups of adults and young people from other areas.

Printfest Ulverston is an annual Arts Festival that celebrates the Hand Made Print and takes place at the Coronation Hall. It offers the public the opportunity to view good quality artworks, to meet the artists and to learn more about printmaking. Printfest supports programmes of workshops for the public, teachers and schools, and Ulverston Fringe - celebrating the Arts and Culture of Ulverston.

We fundraise to maintain this five acre site with provision of new challenging play equipment. This community play area known locally as Fairhill benefits many people in and around Alston as well as visitors on the moor. Currently we are fund-raising to develop a new pump track cycling facility.

Education of older people no longer in full time employment.Provision of facilities for leisure time and recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life in the interests of their social welfare.

1st Duddon (Dalton Church) Scout group currently caters for young people aged between 6-14 years old via a Beaver Colony, Cub Pack and Scout Troop. The group aims to develop its members by using a progressive training system, involvement with other youth organisations and community projects.

PROVIDE LOCAL PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN WITH A VARIED AND INTERESTING SELECTION OF EDUCATIONAL & PLAY ACTIVITIES

Provision of a Village Hall for the benefit of the inhabitants of Helsington and Brigsteer and the surrounding district.

The rescuing and rehoming of abandoned pets and the financing of vet treatment as necessary. The charity runs a small cat sanctuary for temporarily housing cats and kittens and maintains contact with other charities having facilities for dogs and other pet animals. Also the charity liaises with local vets and contributes to the vet bills of OAPs when they cannot afford treatment for their pets.

The aims of the charity are for the advancement of the education of the pupils of the school by providing or assisting in the provision of educational recreational and other charitable facilities

The provision of a village hall for the benefit of the inhabitants and organisations in Dalston Parish for meetings, social events, dances, exhibitions, concerts, plays, classes and the like.

Bring together small choirs and individual singers across Cumbria, especially the northern half, to perform large scale works usually with professional musicians/orchestra.

We organise and run Cockermouth LIVE!, which is an annual festival at various venues throughout Cockermouth, Cumbria showcasing a range of performing and other arts.

Provides buildings and land for sporting and social activities for the people of Seaton and surrounding districts.

The charity provides playing and sports facilitys for the Levens community.

Provision of Village Hall

The principal objective is to promote the use of places of worship in the provision of facilities, in the interests of social welfare, with the aim of improving the condition of life of residents in Cumbria. Main activities of the organisation are: provision of website, consultancy, training, and advice to those involved in looking after places of worship in Cumbria.
