Community Centre, Playing Fields and Children's Playground supporting activities such as Play Groups, Local Meeting Groups, Cricket, Athletics, and other community and Sporting activities.

We are a Sports and Community Centre for the Leven Valley District of Haverthwaite and surrounding villages. Activities include, Athletics, Cricket, Youth Club events and various other community activities.

Provision of religious services of the Orthodox Church, provision of education in Orthodox faith, worship and practice in English

The centre provides a meeting place for the 5 villages which make up the parish of Crosscanonby.It is used by all age groups and has regular activities going on every week. Alongside regular activities we hire the centre out to groups or privately for parties etc. We organise events to suit all age ranges I.e fun days, fund raisers, concerts, whist drives etc.

Manages the Village Hall and surrounding open spaces including the adjacent play area for the use and benefit of village residents and visitors

The mungrisdale Recreation Room ( Village hall) provides a venue for the local community and third party groups to use for social and recreational activities

Swimming, gym fitness, exercise classes, squash, cafe

Provide facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupations in the interests of social welfare for the inhabitants at large of the parishes of Wetheral and Hayton, Cumbria. It also serves the members of neighbouring schools, educational institutions or the public generally on the invitation of the trustees with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Work to increase biodiversity and reduce carbon emissions - through activity on the ground, information and advice, and sharing best practice

Grants for such religious purposes in the Parish of Crosthwaite, near Kendal, including augmentation of the living as the Trustee after consultation with the Bishop of Carlisle may determine.

Charity funds are raised by the Rotary Club of Brampton and Longtown through a variety of small fund raising activities undertaken in the club's main operating area of north Cumbria. Funds raised are applied in the relief of the poor and needy in Cumbria, or to such other charitable purpose, institution, society or object as the Rotary Club of Brampton and Longtown shall approve.

The Trust is a Grant Giving Charity restricted to Religious and Community activities within the Parish of St Mary Windermere

Raise funds to support Brampton Hospital and its patients. Support patients who require nursing/care in the community. Support Organisations with a health interest in the community.

Self help activities of a social and educational nature under the umbrella of the parent organisation The Third Age Trust

Raising funds to supplement the educational activities and fund additional equipment for pupils of Patterdale School

To advance education of public in appreciation of music & in particular piano music through provision of recitals & concerts via such other charitable ways that trustees may determine from time to time. Our educational aims have been achieved through our continued promotion of piano recitals of classical music given entirely by professional artists of international renown.

Memorial hall/village hall with playing field, providing a building & recreational space for community & private groups to hire e.g. playgroup, youth club, badminton & bowling clubs, parish meetings, fundraising & social events & private hire for funerals, parties & sports. Hosts a District Council recycling centre.

Personal service to worthy causes and fund raising activities including concerts, quiz evenings, fun evenings, street collections and car parking duties at local events

Education of Mature People by self discovery and tuition.Non Profit making educational self supporting study, including community development , interest in the environment and heritage and providing a study framework and guidance together with resources on a voluntary basis.

Preston Patrick Memorial Hall is a village hall meeting the social needs of a scattered parish with a population of about 350. It has a loyal voluntary committee of workers.

Donations made to school.

Organises fund raising events to raise money to supply extra equipment and facilities for the school children.

The charity is to provide specialist accommodation that will be modified and furnished to meet the specific needs of children who have a severe disability and their families. The accommodation is based in Hale and is currently being adapted before the centre is opened for use.
