Eden Sight Support is developing its resources to provide support for vision impaired people in the Eden district. We want to ensure vision impaired people are not disadvantaged through disability, low income or lack of knowledge, but have access to: support, training in new skills, aids for everyday living, help provided by statutory authorities.

We are currently raising money for the school through hosting various events.

MAINTENANCE OF BROUGH MEMORIAL HALL FOR USE BY MEMBERS OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY FOR RECREATION, PUBLIC MEETINGS, MEETINGS OF VARIOUS LOCAL ORGANISATIONS, FUND-RAISING FUNCTIONS FOR LOCAL GROUPS, PRIVATE FUNCTIONS.

Holding events of varying types for the purpose of raising money from the public and from members of the club and thereafter dispensing the fund for the relief of the poor and needy both locally and throughout the world.

Promote public interest in Cumbrian landscape; survey, record & research same; liaise with owners to assist and promote our aims.

The objects of the charity is to benefit sick needy persons resident within Lancs, Gr. Manchr, S. Cumbria, Liverpl and Sefton with up to 20% of the net yearly income being available for the benefit of retired district nursing staff who have worked in the same area. There is no restriction on the overall amount to benefit the sick needy. Application of amounts is at the discretion of the trustees.

To provide a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Maulds Meaburn and the neighbourhood, for use for meetings, lectures and classes, and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Educational charity providing grants to local applicable residents and schools/institutions for educational purposes.

MAKES GRANTS TO ORGANISATIONS WHOSE USE OF SUCH GRANTS WILL BENEFIT THE INHABITANTS OF THE PARISH OF MILNTHORPE AND ITS IMMEDIATE VICINITY.
