RAISING FUNDS FOR CHRISTIAN YOUTH ACTIVITIES

Diverse community events are held in the village hall e.g. lectures, slide shows, Christmas, Spring and Summer fairs, etc. The hall is also hired out for use by local groups , art clubs, entertainment group, bowls club, wine club, gardening club, fitness classes etc.

The objects are to promote the craft of keeping of honey bees and to provide education and practical support to enhance the standard of beekeeping husbandry and quality of forage available to honey bees and other pollinators

Barrow Celtic Juniors Football Club provide children and adults with facilities equipment and qualified coaches to become involved in and develop within football. We are based in the town of Barrow in Furness and are affiliated to the Lancashire FA.

Provision of accomodation and related facillities for the purpose of carrying out all aspects of the sport of mountaineering.

-Engaging in research projects in collaboration with professional archaeologists and other partners to develop a fuller understanding of the archaeology of the North Pennines;-Providing opportunities for members to increase their knowledge of archaeological methods and practices via education, research, fieldwork and training;-Raising awareness of the rich and diverse archaeological heritage

recycling and the promotion and education of reuse of waste materials.

Meeting venue & community centre, activities include - lindal pre school, St Peters Church rainbows & brownies, badminton, keep fit, dog training, parties, annual gala, senior citizen xmas party.

The objects of the Charity are 'to promote maintain improve and advance education particularly in the area of Literature and the written word and the formulation preparation and establishment of schemes to render such education accessible to the public.'

The object of the Society shall be to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music principally through choral singing in a mixed voice choir by the prsentation of public concerts and by other such ways as the Society through its committee [the trustees] shall determine from time to time.

Santon Bridge Village Hall provides facilities for recreation / training / education to residents of and visitors to the area.

Supports education and learning in its broad sense for individuals and groups with association with St Michael's Church.

The aims of Cleator Moor Youth and Community Centre is to provide a community facility for recreation and leisure time providing social welfare for the area. In partiular, but not exclusively for children and young people in the Cleator Moor area. We aim for these activities to develop their mental, physical and personal capacities so that they mature as individuals and members of society.

Provision of food to those in need

Providing a Hall and facilities for events taking place in our village. Raising money to cover the costs of keeping the facility in good condition.

Singing, Concerts and Shows

Crown Green Bowling. We are situated in Kendal Cumbria. We participate in several leagues, one of which has over 60 teams. We have 4 teams in that particular league. We also participate in a Seniors League which we have 4 teams, as well as a beginners league.

Education of Mature People by self discovery and tuition.Non Profit making educational self supporting study, including community development , interest in the environment and heritage and providing a study framework and guidance together with resources on a voluntary basis.
