To provide a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Maulds Meaburn and the neighbourhood, for use for meetings, lectures and classes, and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

To promote efficiency and effectiveness in the charitable activities of not-for-profit organisations, voluntary groups and charities working with and for the benefit of children and young people and operating in the local government area of Lancaster District and elsewhere.

Provides premises for community use, outdoor safe play area for small children. Recreation field for sports use, football and an enclosed multi use sports area.

General Charitable purposes

To empower & inspire young people aged 13 - 25 across northwest England through meaningful engagement with land, nature and environmental decision-making. Our work focuses on understanding and enriching Garsdale Pike and the wider Cumbrian landscape, building community connections, expanding horizons, promoting evidence-led natural regeneration, to support young people to lead and deliver change.

Voluntary youth organisation with a naval theme. Organising training events in boating, camping & shooting to encourage individuals to reach their full potential. Developing valuable personal attributes and high standards of conduct.

The education of the general public about the value of bees to the environment and the ways in which they can help to reduce their decline. Services include an educational outreach programme to schools and community groups, training for prospective, beginner and experienced beekeepers and a swarm collection service.

Charity supports the work and upkeep of Skirwith Parish Church.

Our village hall is the community centre for Newton in Cartmel and the surrounding area.

The Hall is open to Witherslack and the surrounding areas.for use as meeting place, youth activities, social occasions . use by local authorities

The provision of rescue boats and crews for any event on water, at sea or inland.Crews can be aged from 14.All assignment crews have RYA Powerboat certificates.

The hall is busy each weekday and most evenings with many and varied activities which are well publicised on noticeboards within the village.These include games afternoon inc indoor bowls,bingo,art classes including one for portraiture,Quilting,patchwork,beading and embroidery,coffee mornings. and scouts.Weekends are usually let for private functions and/or concerts

Our mission remains that of enabling children and young people to develop emotionally,physically ,socially and educationally by taking part in a range of activities at Carlton Outdoor Education Centre. In particular we are dedicated to helping children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Fund raising activities for pupils at Beckstone School

The Charity provides recreational facilities and leisure time activities for young people in Great Clifton, Cumbria.

Provision of hall for the Low Furness Community (and surrounding areas) for recreational use

An oportunity for ladies to meet, socialise and discuss areas of concern in the local area that would benefit the community at large and to give support where possible.

One of the sponsors of Cartmel in Bloom Group . CVS aims to forge better links and relationships with local organisations and schools so that work is co-ordinated and not duplicated. Donations are given annually to worthy local projects that will benefit the village of Cartmel.

To provide a venue for recreation, social, moral and intellectual development for the whole community of the villages of Morland, Newby and Sleagill and their immediate vicinity.

We raise money all year round by way of disco's, film nights, 100 club, annual fete and raffle. We also have collections for the air ambulance.

Sedbergh Town Band enables people of diverse backgrounds, ages and musical ability, living in rural communities, to learn to play brass instruments and experience the achievement and comradeship from playing in a band. Public performances provide live music to audiences, which otherwise would not have such an opportunity.

Provision of building for services/activities for the benefit of residents of Stainton Parish, including educational, leisure activities and entertainment.Peservation of historic building listed grade llPromotion and intergration of measures, technologies into historic buildings to reduce carbon footprints and where possible a net exporter of energy by use of renewable energy generation.
