A community where people have the resources and skills to help those experiencing suicidal thoughts and mental health problems, and to support those impacted by, or bereaved by, suicide.

MONTHLY EVENTS FOR PRISONERS IN EVERTHORPE, WOLDS & PRISONS. OUR BIBLE COLLEGE RUNS TWO 15 WEEK RESIDENTIAL SEMESTERS PER YEAR. STUDENTS SERVE IN THE COMMUNITY IN VARIOUS WAYS INCLUDING PRISON VISITING.

Provide a service to the Inspectors and community to rehabilitate and rehome animals in distress. To provide information and welfare advice. Provide welfare assistance to those on benefits for emergency situations. To offer a cat neutering scheme to those on benefits. To provide assistance to wild animals and neuter feral cats where possible.

PROVIDES FULL DAY CARE AND NURSERY EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN FROM 3 MONTHS OLD TO 8 YEARS OLD

CWMET's principal activity is acting as a grant distribution body funding projects across parts of Cumbria. The grants are open to all community groups or organisations which are non-profit distributing bodies and are not under Local Authority control. They must have a constitution that allows them to support CWMET's objectives.

TO CONSERVE AND ENHANCE THE NATURAL BEAUTY AND AMENITY OF THE COUNTRYSIDE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC.TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IS THE APPRECIATION OF THE ARTS BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF A WIDE RANGE OF THE PERFORMING AND VISUAL ARTS AND IN PARTICULAR OF ART IN THE ENVIRONMENT.

Regular public worship with the provision of sacred space for personal prayer & contemplation. Pastoral work, teaching of Christianity. Religious assemblies in local schools. Promoting the whole mission of the church through provision of Christian activities for senior citizens, parents & toddlers, young people & other special needs groups. Supporting other charities in the UK and overseas.

Aims to develop people by using the power of sports participation to make a difference to local communities

To provide grants for educational needs to young people under 25 and resident in the Lakes Parish, and to the voluntary schools (and to academies that were formerly voluntary schools) in the Lakes Parish. Grants may also be given to groups or organisations where the members satisfy the age and residence requirements. Considerable aid is given to young people with special needs.

OFSTED Registered Nursery taking children in the age range 0 - 5.

Childrens full day care for children age 3 months to leaving primary school. We also offer hourly sessions as required. Premises are situated on Mill Lane Beckermet, in purpose built premises and operated by fully qualified staff which also includes opportunities for childcare apprenticeships

Kepplewray challenges exclusion and is founded on a commitment to bring disabled and non-disabled people together as equal partners.We operate a fully accessible education and activity centre offering adventure, challenge and relaxation with full-board accommodation and home-cooked food. We provide training on disability awareness and undertake access auditing.

Carer Support Furness (formerly Furness Carers) was established to support Unpaid Carers of all ages who are looking after a partner, relative or friend who through illness or disability cannot manage at home without help. We offer a wide range of services to meet the individual needs including: information, emotional support and practical services and we support Adult, Parent and Young Carers.

Restore (Cumbria) exists to help create new lives and opportunities for people, including but not restricted to the work and ministry of the OpShops, the Repair Cafe and the Men in Sheds project.

We promote, co-ordinate and secure adequate search and rescue arrangements, primarily in the mountainous areas of Cumbria. We undertake publicity where necessary in order to inform or educate the public in all aspects of mountain safety. We represent and support all our member rescue teams with help, guidance, training, funding and advice, including fundraising for them.

We provide support for disadvantaged families with children up to eighteen years old. Volunteers visit their allocated families in their own home on a regular basis providing friendship, support & practical assistance. Group activities for parents & children are run in different venues & often in conjunction with other agencies. We also run a Child Contact Centre for absent parents.

To provide Search and Rescue Services in Morecambe Bay, Lake District and North Lancashire areas. To prevent loss of life both human and animal. To assist all emergency services when required with our specialist skills and equipment.

Relief of poverty by giving assistance to governesses and other ladies who meet the Society's criteria. Providing annuities, grants and subsidised accomodation for ladies in reduced circumstances

iCan is a health, wellbeing and social support charitable organisation. Officially registered as a charity in June 2023, after 6 years previously operating as a CIC and over 10 year prior to that in the private sector. Our mission is to break down activity and mental wellbeing barriers from I can't to iCan with a focus on prevention before recovery.

The charity's objects are, for public benefit, to advance the education in Arts in Barrow in Furness, and also nationally and internationally. through the establishment of a facility to encourage artist led initiatives; particularly the production and exhibition of new work. The policies adopted in furtherance of these objects are to implement a programme of local art and design focussed workshops

The Trust was formed in 1882 covering 28 acres of park land in central Keswick, Cumbria adjoining the river Greta. A new scheme was drawn in 1995 and management of the Parks is now the responsibility of Keswick Town Council as sole trustee.

OUR SETTING IS SITUATED IN THE RURAL VILLAGE OF GOSFORTH IN CUMBRIA. THE NURSERY PROVIDES FULL DAY CARE FOR CHILDREN FROM 4 MONTHS OF AGE, OUT OF SCHOOL SERVICES AND HOLIDAY CLUBS FOR CHILDREN UP TO 11 YEARS OF AGE.

Team Solan is a charity created to help people impacted by a cancer. diagnosis or bereavement. Our aim is to help improve the quality of life of those affected by cancer within the North East of England. We provide bespoke help, support, advice and signposting for families and individuals who are dealing with the turmoil that cancer can bring.
