We are a charity with a Christian ethos aiming to eliminate homelessness in the Chesterfield and NE Derbyshire area by providing accommodation, support and training for vulnerable men who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and helping them move into their own homes with ongoing support from the charity. Sarac is the only specialist sexual abuse and rape advice Centre covering the area of East Staffordshire and South Derbyshire having served the area for 30 years. We aim to help all those affected by offering a confidential service that aims to relieve mental distress through advice and counselling assistance. Anyone, who is 11 years plus can refer to SARAC.

Work-wise is an employer inspired and led initiative for science, technology, engineering, manufacturing and related sectors to support the development of young people so they have the knowledge, skills, aptitude and opportunities for employment within the Sheffield City Region

The objective of the Trust is to apply its income towards relieving those customers who are in conditions of need, poverty, hardship or other distress and are having difficulty making payment for the supply of water to their home but make regular payments for an amount they can afford.

We collect donations of unwanted furniture from the public and help people on low incomes with affordable furniture. We supply people who have been homeless and are setting up a new home with a free furniture pack. We divert good usable furniture away from landfill.
