The charity has continued to provide a wide range of support services to the local community. Meeting rooms for a number of local groups are much appreciated by organisations on low incomes. The partnership with Leicestershire County Council Community Services and Adult Learning Services has enabled local people to access learning facilities that would not normally be available to them.

Holding Church Services, Meetings and Lectures on Christian Science.Running a Reading Room and Resource Centre where the Bible and Christian Science literature can be read, borrowed or purchased.All these activities are open to the public.

Jigsaw works with young people on the Autistic Spectrum who would like to develop social and lifeskills. This is done in a variety of environments that are aimed to provide opportunities for lifelong learning. We run youth club sessions, trips out and residential experiences. We provide a comfortable environment where young people can be themselves without fear of isolation, judgement and abuse.

To provide professional and immediate response to search and rescue calls from Staffordshire Emergency Planning Department to assist the Police, Fire and Ambulance Services in order to save lives and render assistance as required in Staffordshire and adjacent counties. To assist and liaise with other voluntary bodies wherever required.

The main objective of the church is to advance the gospel of Jesus Christ in accordance with the Holy Scriptures as contained in the Confession of our Faith as per our church constitution. Administer the charity and property for the benefit of the Almshouse residents

First Duffield Scout Group provides structured recreational/educational scouting based activities for children aged 5-14 in the Duffield area.

Provides free physiotherapy for elderly people in their own homes.

Two agricultural shows held each year May & August - Weather permitting. Attendance 4,000 plus. May show includes gymkhana, dog show, trade fair plus attractions. August show includes horses, cattle, sheep, dogs, trade fair & attractions. All helping to raise public awareness & interest in local agriculture.No shows held in 2020, 2021 due to Covid 19. No shows 2022 as moved to new showground.

The purpose of the Church is the advancement of the Christian faith as a Baptist Church and in accordance with the Basis of Faith primarily but not exclusively within Duffield Derbyshire and the surrounding neighbourhood andsuch other charitable purposes as shall, in the opinion of the charity trustees, put into practice the Christian faith in accordance with the Basis Basis of Faith.

The charity operates the village hall known as Burbage Institute (Buxton)

Provides music-making ensembles for children and young people at a music centre, with ancillary concerts and related events.

Exists for the diffusion and support of the principles of Unitarian Christianity & Liberal Religion in the East Midlands and support of its consituent congregations

Provides a safe, secure and neutral location where the children of separated families can spend time with the parent they no longer live with, or other family members they would not otherwise see, thus maintaining these vital relationships.

Management of Tutbury Old School, home to Tutbury Pre-school, Tutbury & Hatton Scout Group and other community groups. We aim to manage and maintain this vital facility for the community of Tutbury.

The trustees have maintained a programme of support for: (1) Christian relief organisations, overseas mission agencies and projects; (2) Schemes for relief of poverty and sources of poverty within the Midlands; (3) Support for local church mission projects, primarily within Derbyshire.

We are a charity that aspires to enhance the education and development of children and young people in the community through the provision of high quality childcare. We are a small country setting which provides services to children aged 2-11 years, 5 days a week, term time.

Polish language classes for children

To provide grants to young people residing in the Fairfield area of Buxton, to assist with their education at university or college. Also to give grants for sports, study of music & other arts. Generally assisting with those costs.
