The Charity provides a centre of excellence for the medical care of adult patients suffering from cystic fibrosis for the whole of the West Midlands region. The Charity seeks to continually improve the centre for the benefit of patients. It also promotes research into the causes and treatment of cystic fibrosis, provides counselling services and furthers public education about the condition.

Local organisations use the facilities for fund raising-raising events,meetings,etc.and the Town Council uses the building to provide services to the community.The facilities are also used for parties,receptions,music rehearsals,drama classes,lectures and continues to be used as a venue for children's birthday parties.

The PTFA committee organise various fund raising events to attract and appeal to a range of interests. Some are purely for the children e.g. Duck race & School Discos.Some are more family orientated e.g. Winter & Summer Fairs.Others are purely for adults e.g. Quiz nights & Summer Party.

We are a Pre-school catering for children aged 18 months - 4 years old.

THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH, PARTICULARLY IN THE AREA OF GREATER MANCHESTER BY THE PROMOTION OF CHRISTIAN TEACHING AND WORSHIP. THE PROMOTION OF ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSE, PARTICULARLY WITHIN THE AREA OF BENEFIT AND WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, THE RELIEF OF THE AGED AND OF THE SICK, AND OF DISABLED PEOPLE, AND THE PROTECTION AND PRESERVATION OF GOOD HEALTH.

WE ARE A SCOUT GROUP WHO WAS FOUNDED IN 1908 AND COVER ALL SECTIONS OF THE SCOUTING MOVEMENT. THESE ARE BEAVERS, CUBS AND SCOUTS. WE COVER A BROAD RANGE OF ACTIVITIES INVOLVING COMMUNITY PROJECTS, THE HEALTH AND WELL BEING AND DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG THROUGH A STRUCTURED SYSTEM WHICH HAS BEEN PROVEN OVER THE LAST 100 YEARS.

The charity provides accommodation for the poor. It caters for anyone over 50 who are resident in the Amber Valley local authority area. The charity currently has two properties, the Matthew Smith Almshouses and Broadhurst House adjoining the Almshouses comprising 6 properties in total.

Current activities focus on the following1. The maintenance and appropriate equipping of the primary care facilities2. Encouraging community groups' use of the facilities at the primary care centre; and3. The provision of funding for community events and activities

We provide opportunities for group playing to young musicians of all ages and abilities, form those learning about music to very proficient instrument players.

Exists to advance education and to relieve people living in Whaley Bridge and surrounding area who are in need because of their social and/or economic circumstances by the provision of a drop-in centre offering facilities and services calculated to relieve such charitable needs.

Our overall vision is for the Grand Pavilion to be used as a multi-purpose centre for arts, entertainment, and local History/Heritage. This would be available to the local residents and the wider community, and utilised by different organisations and groups to maximise use.

Scout Group consisting of four sections: one for Squirrel Scouts; one for Beaver Scouts; one for Cub Scouts; and one for Scouts. Providing scouting activities to children aged 5 to 15 years old in the Mickleover area of Derby.

Palterton Miners Welfare - Welfare operated in Palterton

The club meets weekly for lunch or evening meal, when there is normally a speaker. Members raise money and give their services for the benefit of the local community and internationally.

Church of England church.

The charity has continued to expand its work in Romania especially amongst poor people in deprived areas. The first Children's feeding centre is completed. Three more are being developed. The Hope Mission centre is in its final stages of completion and includes a food bank . The charity continues to assist individuals in crisis in the Derbyshire area when needed .

We support asylum seekers and refugees who have to report to the Home Office Reporting Centre in Loughborough. We offer words of welcome and support. We also give out vouchers which can be used at a local community cafe and in the winter we give out hats, gloves and scarves. During the school holidays we provide small gifts for children who accompany their parents.

To promote in common effort to advance education and provide facilities in the interest of social welfare and leisure time occupation with the object of improving conditions of the life and wellbeing for the resident three to five year old children of Somercotes and Leabrooks.

To provide premises for the use of members of the village and surrounding area of West Hallam.
