Rotary Club service to local community and internationally:--Support of local organisations & services which provide local benefit.Support of very local organisations through a town-wide lottery.International support of pupils & students in Nepal through a separately donated fund, assisted by a Nepal Rotary Club. Support of Rotary International charity, and general disasters as they arise.

We have a number of disability exercise programmes running in the local community of Sheffield, catering for the long term ill health and disabled, this particularly includes provision for wheelchair bound individuals who want to improve their health. We have structured sessions for Boccia, Curling and Safe Play Sports for younger children.

Scout Group consisting of four sections: one for Squirrel Scouts; one for Beaver Scouts; one for Cub Scouts; and one for Scouts. Providing scouting activities to children aged 5 to 15 years old in the Mickleover area of Derby.

Hamaari currently provides a wide range of activities within Normanton in Derby City area. The activities provided are basic benefit advice to clients, interpreting and advocating on their behalf.

To educate and train women to enable them to build new skills and take part in wide-ranging activities and campaign on issues that matter to them and their community.

To provide a village hall for the benefit of the residents of Etwall and surrounding areas

Provision of financial assistance for the priests of the Nottingham Diocese in respect of glasses, hearing and dental requirements

PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION

The Derby Choral Union performs concerts and holds other choral events. It aims to increase the public knowledge and appreciation of music by the practice and performance of oratorios and other musical works of high excellence, sacred and secular.

Cromford Community Centre Association is responsible for the village Community Centre. A small sports hall, accommodating up to100 people and a meeting room for up to 60 are available for hire by regular groups and for one-off events. Local charities free. Members (?5 p.a.) can use the Club bar, open 5 evenings, with boules and quiz teams. Open air events take place in the adjoining Market Place.

Operates guided tours, heritage walks and talks for school and general public education relating to the Industrial Revolution.

Village hall - the management committee run it for the benefit of people of all ages living in the parish. It is also used by people outside the parish when available.

The advancement of the Christian faith according to the principles of the Baptist Denomination to the general public in the local and wider community. The Church may also advance Christian education and carry out charitable purposes in the United Kingdom and/or other parts of the world.

Castleton Village Hall provides a hall for the community, to benefit all user groups whether local or visitor.

Donations given to local & overseas charities

Care and maintenance of village hall to ensure that it is fit for purpose and for use by local residents and visitors. The hall is primarily used for day and evening classes, social functions, events and occasionally by public bodies for activities of benefit to the community.

Running of Squirrels, Beavers ,Cubs and Scout groups.

Fund raising for Park Lane Special School

The settlement is established for the purpose of supporting residents of Derbyshire and its charitable organisations, voluntary organisations, educational establishments, churches community societies and community groups for the public benefit and wit the objective of improving the conditions of life for residents of Derbyshire.

The choir performs in concerts in Derbyshire and across the UK to raise awareness of the male voice choral tradition, and to raise funds for local charities.

The principal activity of the charity in the year under review was to proclaim the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to give every man, woman and child who respond to said Gospel the opportunity to become whole in Christ Jesus for the glory of God through teaching study & prayer.

Barlborough Civic Trust provides two buildings for school and community use with coffee shop facilities two morning a week. There are a wide range of community groups to cater for all ages from social clubs to various exercise activities for the residents of Barlborough and further afield. We now have a before and after school club in the Little School.

SSBB seeks to advance the education of young people of Stockport and Greater Manchester in the pursuit of music making through its organisation, support, training and provision of music facilities. SSBB continues to advance the education of the general public in the art of brass band music through continuing to perform in public in many different venues including theatres, churches and schools.

The Rotary Club of Uttoxeter Trust Fund is managed by members of the Rotary Club of Uttoxeter and operates in this area. Monies are raised from its own members and the general public with all operating costs being met by members. Charitable giving is general with emphasis on the young, elderly and those with disabilities.

The rescue and rehabilitation of injured swans, cygnets and other animals, by providing a rescue, hospital and treatment facilities. To also further educate the public on how to reduce suffering to such animals.
