We provide facilities for members of the Centre to participate in the purchase of alcohol and the various recreational pursuits available in the Centre. We also have a large screen television for enhanced viewing by the members.

The Trust's charitable objectives are met through annual plans developed by Club Committees and use the voluntary efforts of its members.The plans are published on the Club wedsite and include direct fund raising ,encouragement of other groups to raise funds and/or support Rotary programmes and service to the local community.Many Club activity outcomes are reported on the website.

Curbar Primary School PTFA aims to raise money which is used to benefit and enrich the educational and social experiences of the children at our school. We are currently raising funds to develop our outdoor sports facilities.

We are closing down the Church aspect and will focus solely on our community/charitable work. To relieve hardship and to promote and preserve good health by the provision of goods or services of any kind, including through the provision of counselling and support in England or any part of the world as the trustees from time to time may think fit.

THE TRUST APPLIES DONATIONS TO YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE AREA TOWARD EXPENSES OF TRAINING AND/OR FURTHER EDUCATION AND TO ORGANISATIONS THAT PROVIDE/SUPPORT YOUNG PEOPLE

Provides facilities for sports, leisure and social activities within the local community and the surrounding areas.

The Hall is used by local people to run services for the community, eg Dog training classes, Keep Fit Sessions, Child Nursery Classes, Public Meeting Venue etc.Bookings can be made via Mrs.Carter 01773 852681

We are a local community centre for local people to meet, greet and have fun.

The provision of funds for the relief of the poor and needy or such other charitable purposes as the Rotary Club of Bakewell shall in duly constituted meeting from time to time direct.

The Trustees work to maintain and improve the Community Centre for community activities, for example Girl Guides, Karate class, Theatre arts group(adults and children, and Private hire parties. The centre is also used as the venue for the Village Horticultural Show, Village Pantomime, Easter event and Woodland Trust activites.

TO PROMOTE HUMANE BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS BIRDS PROMOTING APPROPRIATE CARE, PROTECTION, TREATMENT AND SECURITY FOR BIRDS WHICH ARE IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION BY REASON OF SICKNESS, MALTREATMENT, POOR CIRCUMSTANCES OR ILL USAGE AND TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS PERTAINING TO BIRD WELFARE IN GENERAL AND THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY AND SUFFERING AMONG BIRDS.

Buxton Film is a community cinema that aims to bring the best national and international film not otherwise available to everyone in the town of Buxton.

Provide the police with an underground search and rescue service: DCRO is the closest organisation for the following police force areas - Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Cheshire (part), Derbyshire, Greater Manchester (part), Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire, Staffordshire (part) and Warwickshire.

Organising school events to (1) raise money that is solely used for the benefit of the school and (2) provide a strong link between the school community and the parents of children at the school.

We are a Mental Health Life Skills Rehabilitation service for people who have long term emotional and social problems. Until we have new premises we are offering support in the community. The skills training offered are: budgeting , household management, relationships and social skills. Training is given in understanding and developing good Emotional Health in relation to good Mental Health.
