SCHOOL FUNDRAISING

Activity of the Charity is to provide additional funding, and assistance to Hayfield, and Hayfield Primary School for educational, and creative learning for children.

Providing or facilitating public education by lectures, research, publishing educational materials, hands on training; providing extra facilities at school to allow the subject to be studied and by providing education for children in Burkina Faso and anywhere in the world by raising money and on occasions visiting to share our knowledge and skills.

Performance of classical music for the local community

The holding of regular rehearsals and concerts.Extending the experience of choral music making to the wider community.

We are closing down the Church aspect and will focus solely on our community/charitable work. To relieve hardship and to promote and preserve good health by the provision of goods or services of any kind, including through the provision of counselling and support in England or any part of the world as the trustees from time to time may think fit.

Relief of hardship either generally or individually of persons resident in the ares of benefit.

Provision of a Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Alderwasley in the County of Derby without distinction of political, religious or other opinions including use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants.

1. To Develop effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school2. To Engage in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

The charity awards one scholarship per year for one year's post graduate study in Pianoforte.

To raise funds to provide support to school projects that are outside of the school's normal budget, eg funding towards the purchase of a school minibus and providing funding for projects requested by the School and/or the School Council.

Fundraising events

The Hall is used by local people to run services for the community, eg Dog training classes, Keep Fit Sessions, Child Nursery Classes, Public Meeting Venue etc.Bookings can be made via Mrs.Carter 01773 852681

FUND RAISING FOR OLD HALL JUNIOR SCHOOL. PRIMARILY THROUGH TWO FAIRS AND OTHER SMALLER ACTIVITIES DURING THE YEAR LIKE SCHOOL DISCOS

Sustainable Hayfield works with individuals & community organisations to promote sustainability in the parish of Hayfield. We have 5 working groups - energy, transport, food, waste (3Rs), and biodiversity. These groups run projects locally. We produce a quarterly newsletter for our 200 supporters and organise an annual Apple Day. We engage with local councils and our MP on environmental matters,

THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES, EQUIPMENT AND COACHING FOR THE SPORT OF FENCING

lADIES LUNCHEONS, PRIZE DRAWS, QUIZ NIGHTS, DANCES, SALES STALLS

Fully participated in the principles of Scouting, outdoor and indoor activities ages 6 to 18. Additional fund raising, Annual Race Night. Group events have been very successful. The aim is to fund an equipment replacement and to look towards developing our headquarters.

Village Hall with rooms available for rental

We are a local community centre for local people to meet, greet and have fun.

TO PROMOTE HUMANE BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS BIRDS PROMOTING APPROPRIATE CARE, PROTECTION, TREATMENT AND SECURITY FOR BIRDS WHICH ARE IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION BY REASON OF SICKNESS, MALTREATMENT, POOR CIRCUMSTANCES OR ILL USAGE AND TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS PERTAINING TO BIRD WELFARE IN GENERAL AND THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY AND SUFFERING AMONG BIRDS.

To engage in activities which support Alderwasley Hall School and advance the education of the pupils attending it.
