the object of the association is to advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by, developing effective relationships between the staff parents and others associated with the school and engaging in activites or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

Belper Singers is a Chamber Choir of around 30 mixed voices performing a wide range of choral music from the 16th to 21st centuries. They perform about six concerts per year in a range of venues including churches, stately homes, pubs and community spaces, mostly in Belper and Derbyshire villages. They rehearse weekly in Belper during school term time.

The general benefit of the inhabitants of Kirk Ireton in such charitable ways that the Trustees think fit.

We support the life and activities of All Saints Church in the village of Breadsall, Derbyshire.Our funds are devoted mainly to building.equipment and churchyard maintenance.

Supporting the Chiapas Rural Development Centre, Mexico which works amongst the Mayan Tzeltal people. Principal focus is the conservation and restoration of an ex WW1 light railway narrow gauge steam locomotive built by Hunslet of Leeds. We also hope to help educate about WW1, the light railways used and their influence, the general use of narrow gauge railways, the changes in British engineering influence around the world, traditional engineering skills, and the role heritage has in the UK today.

Provides the premises for local community activities including sports, leisure, meetings, private functions, drama, dancing etc.

Run a series of events for children and families of children at the school including discos, bingo nights, chocolate night, circus fair and Christmas Fair to raise money for the benefit of children at the school

Fun-based activities for local charities

Our PTFA exists to support and enhance the educational experience of all pupils at Brookfield Primary School. We do this by raising funds through events such as school fairs, raffles, discos, and sponsored activities like colour runs. We provide resources and experiences that enrich the curriculum and school environment, including funding for equipment and school trips.

We provide grants to groups, organisations and projects in the Eyam, Derbyshire area, raising money by the sale of second-hand books and jigsaw puzzles.

We manage the playing field and children's play area. We raise money and involve village residents in fund raising and social events. Local businesses support our work financially and we have an effective working relationship with them and our Parish Council. Castleton Primary School now use a dedicated woodland area for environmental studies. The field is open to the general public.

The charity holds fund raising events in Castleton. The funds are used to make grants to St Edmunds Church Castleton to help repair, maintain and preserve the building, fabric and fittings of the church.

To apply for funding and hold events raising money for Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, Ashbourne.

To raise monies to enrich the education of the children of St Mary's School of New Mills, High Peak. Funds will be used to contribute towards the purchase of equipment , services and events that the school may not afford that will enrich the childrens education and promote a postive school environment.

The charity provides information about the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site in Derbyshire through various types of publication such as books,guides & postcards.

Fund raising for the benefit of the children at Shirland Primary School

The Society studies and reports on the archaeology, history and architecture of South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire. A series of lectures is held. Visits are made to sites of interest. Members give lectures to other groups and attend at open days and similar events. Transactions are published usually every two years and contain articles or local and wider interest.
