We are the modern voice for today's women. We play a unique role in providing women with educational opportunities and the chance to build new skills, to take part in a wide variety of activities and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities.

We arrange meetings and outings for 'over sixties' every 2 weeks.

We raise funds through our hospital shop, selling drinks and snacks and Bric-a-Brac We also hold an Easter and Christmas Raffle each year. The funds are given to the hospital by purchasing equipment for the ward, physiotherapy unit, podiatry and chiropody unit and other clinics.

WE ARE A LOCAL GIRL GUIDE GROUP PROVIDING ACTIVITIES AND CAMPS FOR GIRLS AGED 10-15 TO LEARN NEW SKILLS, MEET NEW PEOPLE AND HELP THE LOCAL COMMUNITY

Whaley Bridge Band is a local village band who perform concerts at various venues within the High Peak throughout the year.

General purpose village hall functions ie. meetings for local activities and parish councils etc. We run regular social events for pensioners and hire out the hall to the community to provide funds to maintain the hall, and to subsidise social events.

TO MONITOR AND PRESERVE THE HERITAGE AND CHARACTER OF THE PARISH OF MELBOURNEAND TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION BY WAY OF LECTURES, VISITS, ETC.

Fundraising activities eg. fun days, adult evening events, childrens discos to raise money for materials (such as for "Arts Week"), trips out and extracurricular activities in general.

We provide opportunities to study and practice Buddhist teachings and meditation in and around Sheffield through: Retreats (day and residential) led by experienced teachers; Courses, e.g. Introduction to Insight Meditation; Practice and study groups for beginners and experienced meditators; Peer groups sharing experience and meditation practice; Facebook, Newsletter, Twitter, Website.

Through out the year we have various fund raising events so that we can donate to local, national and overseas projects

NLHA provides financial and other support to groups and individuals; holds local history conferences; publishes a magazine "The Nottinghamshire Historian"; distributes monthly newsletter; works closely with local organisations (libraries, archives, local studies departments) to promote and support local history.

The charity gives grants to young people living within the parish of Burbage, Buxton, Derbyshire for the purpose of furthering their education be it academic, sporting or practical.

The stated aim of the group is to promote, for the benefit of Elvaston Parish and surrounding villages in Derbyshire, the provision of recreational events to enable residents to come together, get to know each other and have a great time!Elvaston Communities Group can trace its origins back to September 2009

Sustainable Hayfield works with individuals & community organisations to promote sustainability in the parish of Hayfield. We have 5 working groups - energy, transport, food, waste (3Rs), and biodiversity. These groups run projects locally. We produce a quarterly newsletter for our 200 supporters and organise an annual Apple Day. We engage with local councils and our MP on environmental matters,
