We are an over sixty's club, who just play dominoes and bingo, have days out and go to dinners.

We organise and run a number of activities covering a range of the arts. These include writing workshops and an annual short story competition; spoken word evenings; musical concerts in varying styles; a monthly film night; arts and crafts workshops and an annual art and photography show.

Fund Raising Activities were an Indoor Dickensian Street Market including Tombola,A Quiz Sheet, A Boxing Dat Concert, Annual Raffle, Bag Pack and a Street Collection, Sponsored Swim, Auction. At end of Year ? 7,500 was handed out to local charities taken from the Balance on the current year of ?173

During this reporting period the charity have conducted many fund raising events throughout the year, these include, street collections in Burton on Trent, table top sales and attending open days and fates. We have also organised trips to Severn valley railway during a 40's weekend and a trip to Gibraltar, where we laid wreaths on Remembrance Sunday.

We provide and maintain a Playing Field in the village of Hazelwood, Derbyshire, for the benefit of the village people and visitors.

To further the education (including physical & social training) of Derby Grammar School children. To relieve need and sickness (and the distress caused thereby) amongst Derby Grammar School children.

Village Hall used for all village activities,whist drives, parish council meetings,can be hired by outside bodies for weddings, craft fairs, parties etc.Uses occasionally by D.C.C for craft classes, computer classes

We are a Civic Association dedicated to improving Matlock. We comment on proposals/plans affecting the town, campaign for improvements and carry out projects such as painting the Matlock mural, publishing Town Trails and installing Blue Plaques. Our objects are to educate the public in various aspects of the town and to preserve, protect and improve buildings and other features of public interest.

Support for Refugees East Midlands (SFREM) is a registered charity supporting refugees and asylum seekers in the East Midlands. The majority of our activity is in the Newark and Sherwood area and we work in partnership with: Newark and Sherwood District Council The Nottingham Refugee Forum Home Start Support Refugees in Southwell Framework, Opportunity and Change

to fundraise to allow donations to be made to the school/purchase of items for the school to advance the education of pupils within the school.

The group runs activities to advance the education of the public in all aspects of archaeology.

To promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as members of their local, national and international communities.

Our aim is to offer members the opportunuty of sharing friendship and learning - to widen their horizons and together to influence local, national and international affairs.

To provide practical help and advice to anyone who is about to have a surgical procedure which will result in an ileostomy or internal pouch. To keep members of the charity and other interested groups aware of topics of interest by means of periodic publications and local meetings.

To support retired teachers who have taught in Church of England schools in the Diocese of Chester and are communicant members of the Church and to support those who have taught in a Church of England Church in the Diocese for at least five years.

The Womens Institute is a democratically controlled educational & social organisationfor women, offering the opportunityfor working & learning together to improve the quality of life in the community. It is a forum for lobbying on all kinds of issues at a local, national & International level.

Social events and outings for benefits of disabled members

1. Organise courses training people in the Halliwick Concept. 2. Support clubs and other groups who use the Halliwick Concept in teaching swimming to people with disabilities. 3. Organise regional swimming competition for people with disabilities.

Supporting the school and the community by assisting the School in giving a broad education

We have 2 sessions per week. One afternoon and one evening for the social interaction of Draycott senior citizens. We have bingo, tea and biscuits. We also have occasional social events, such as a buffet tea or a meal out.
