The charity operates the village hall for the benefit of the local community. It provides a base for the local art group and the Darley Dale brass Band. the local primary school uses the hall and there is also a pantomime held every year. The hall is also available for hire for birthday parties, christenings , art displays and meetings.

Swad in Bloom organises and participates in planting & tidy up days, awareness and fundraising events as well as educational events, sharing floriculture, horticulture that will have a positive impact on our local environment.

We fundraise to give Children with cancer, life limiting illness and terminally ill gifts throughout the year.

In the Parish of Winster - To assist the relief of the sick and the poor and furthering the education of scholars . To maintain the graves of the Heathcote Family in Winster Churchyard.

To promote and protect the Physical and mental health of children and young people living with epilepsy and their parents and families through the provision of support, education recreational activities and practical advice. To advance the education of the general public in all areas relating to Paediatric epilepsy

Provides relief to elderly single ladies and widows who reside in or around New Mills,High Peak, Derbyshire.

The Trustees maintain the grade II listed 'Eyre Chapel' and grounds by encouraging local groups and individuals to hire the hall for lectures and social activities in accordance with our remit in the trust deed.
