Mereside Brass is a traditional brass band playing to the general public in and around Cheshire.

We supply users, specifically members confined to a wheelchair, or those who need to compete from a wheelchair, with the facilities and equipment to participate in a large number of sports. eg. Basketball, Archery, Bowls, Wheelchair Rugby, Table Tennis, Snooker, Pool, Sailing, Weight training and fitness, Air Rifle and Pistol etc.

To make awards of grant aid to young persons within the area of Dronfield to assist them when embarking upon apprenticeships or higher education

Education and training.

Providing special benefits towards advancing the education (including social and physical training) of pupils and former pupils of Hayfield Primary School who are under the age of 25 years.

The main aim of the charity is to organise fund rasing events to support and enrich the school curriculum by purchasing additional equipment , contributing to school educational trips and to develop a stronger relationship between school and parent.

To educate women through speakers, demonstrations, outings and social activities.

To provide comforts to patients in The Cavendish Hospital Buxton and clinic patients and visitors to MIU at Buxton Cottage Hospital, also supporting patients of Buxton Hospitals in the community requiring aftercare.

Currently raising funds for new books, playground equipment and an Eco Dome for the outdoor learning area.

Raise funds by providing talks and attending events to raise awareness of Hedgehogs and other biodiversity issues. Funds raised are used to support local Hedgehog Rescues.

Spring fayre event annually with stalls and raffle. Childrens discos, quizzes.

Block of 3 Almshouses which are available for occupation by mature applicants.
