Physically Handi-cap club-provides a rented room for meetings each alternate fridays for social activities, refreshment and to discuss outings to various entertainment venues. Wheelchair members and their spouses helpers together with walking member transported by coach to club nights and outings.

To support the relief of sickness and the preservation and protection of good health by the provision of trained first response volunteers, to attend medical emergencies as directed by the East Midlands Ambulance Service, or its successors, prior to the arrival of a rapid response vehicle or ambulance.To educate public in first aid and basic life supportTo give first aid cover at public events

Our Charity organisation is established for the purpose of preserving and protecting good health; Promoting good parenthood; ensuring a stable life styles amongst children and young people, elderly and others facing the threats of poverty or economic hardship; the advancement of education of children and the provision of necessary facilities for the daily care and recreation.

The charity awards one scholarship per year for one year's post graduate study in Pianoforte.

The Village Hall is used regularly for many activities that involve local as well as non local people. These include Sheldon Day, summer Sunday Cream teas, and activities that are fully inclusive of age range and diversity. Money raised from these activities is used for the good of the local community.

SOCIAL EVENINGS

We raise funds to provide our school with additional resources, as well as organising social events for pupils, parents and staff.

Provision of support for children leaving school to assist in their University education and entry into a profession, trade or calling. Provision of support to Aided schools within the parish of Tideswell for items not normally provided by the LEA and assist those schools in refurbisment of fabric.

Small gifts to individuals at times of need in the locality of Bradwell, Derbyshire.

The aim of the charity is to be self-financing and to support affordable leisure, recreation, sporting and social welfare needs, whilst promoting healthy living opportunities, to all the community of Calow village

Helping organisations raise money by performing at road parades, field events and indoor concerts. Helping people of all ages play instruments and read music.

The objects of the charity are to advance the education of the public in the history of knitwear and textile manufacturing in the UK and such other parts of the world in such ways as the Trustees may from time to time think fit, including (but not exclusively) by identifying, acquiring, safeguarding, restoring, conserving, publicising, exhibiting and making publicly available an archive collection

We are a community Garden near to the centre of Chesterfield, where our volunteers meet, grow fruit and vegetables and enjoy the outdoor life in a sustainable way. Our plot was an acre of wasteland which we are bringing back into cultivation as we continue our activities.

Working with NGO's , Zoos, Educational facilities and Governments to assist in conservation practices for wildlife and indigenous people and their natural habitats, raises funds and awareness for insitu organisations to facilitate their work in Sumatra for the re introduction to the wild of Orang-utans and insitu educational programmes , developing a wildlife sanctuary in Wales and rewilding .

The relief of children and young adults with additional pyshical and mental health needs in Derby by provision of therapeutic swimming facilties, teaching and coaching for encouraging, promoting and developing such persons.

Recreation Ground Charity for community use : Children's playground, Local Primary School sports, Bowls Club, Football pitch, residents and visitors recreational walks etc.

Money raised and donated is distributed to charities in UK and abroad

Eleven monthly meetings, usually with a speaker, are held during the year. Special interest groups are organised & outings & lunches arranged. Members are also involved in voluntary work in the community. We also participate in the wider activities of the WI Federation regionally & nationally.

Holds meetings. Co-operates with local authorities , planning committees, and all other statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and charities. Holds fund raising events. Helps to promote civic pride in the local area and to generate public interest in and care for its beauty, history and character.

Cursillo is a movement of the church, providing a method by which Christians are empowered to grow through prayer, study and action and enable to share God's love with everyone.
