We annually make disbursements to elderly residents (usually December) who we feel may be in need of financial assistance.

The charity promotes education into Intensive Care Medicine. It provides medical and other equipment for medical purposes. It also provides support for the relief of persons suffering from any form of illness.

Education

For use of recreation (including 2 football pitches)

The charity has fulfilled its main object by donating 99% of its income in 2019 - 2020 to St Mary's RC School in Loughborough and to causes in the Philippines and Tanzania.

We provide a safe environment for children to learn, play and complete a weekly craft project. We also provide an opportunity for parent, grandparent and carers to meet and socialise.

Making small pensions to retired miners within the prescribed area.

Fund raising to maintain the fabric of St Hugh's Church, Foolow.

Benefit 6 poor scholars at Hartington

The Trust is able to support projects which are beneficial to the Ashbourne community, that can demonstrate a positive contribution to the local environment, the arts, heritage or social wellbeing, comply with our charitable aims and have purposes that are charitable according to the laws of England and Wales

Meeting place for local youth, somewhere to socalise, relax, play and learn.

Ashbourne & District Stroke Support Club offers invaluable support to stroke victims & their carers. The club helps people during the recovery period and through the following months and years.

EDUCATIONAL BENEFIT FOR THE CHILDREN OF KNIVETON, ESPECIALLY OF A CHRISTIAN NATURE

Twice monthly meeting with a variety of subjects:- speakers, slide shows, choirs and outings to places of interest. We help members to keep abreast of new ideas and legislation.

FOBS is Belmont Primary Schools equivalent of a parent teacher association.Our aim is to provide & support the school to benefit the children through fun and social activities. These raise much needed funds to finance additional equipment and resources for the school.
