In 2024 10 peals and 10 quarter peals were rung with one for the Carols by Candlelight service. The bells were also rung for Sunday services and Christmas. We won the 6-bell striking competition and the novice competition plus one member was in the winning 8 bell novice team. We enjoyed our autumn meal. We had a new rope for the third. We joined in the 150th anniversary Guild celebrations.

The charity owns 45 acres of common land in the parish of Brentor, West Devon. Half the area is managed as very low input grassland. Biodiversity surveys of this lowland heath have identified sites of national significance and targeted species (including mud snails and fritillary butterflies) for management. Volunteer working parties aid with coppicing, gorse & bracken control and tree planting

At Christmas time our charity delivers food parcels ( Christmas Treats) to the sick and infirm and housebound to cheer them up, and let them know that someone is thinking of them at this special time. We have also extended it to those who are bereaved. We operate in the Appledore Area only.

We put on events and activities for the local community with particular emphasis in children and elderly.

Cash donations are given to residents of the village of Sampford Peverell who are in need of monetary help in circumstances ie death in family; cash towards the cost of transport to visit relative who is in hospital on a long term stay; any requests for help from villagers is carefully considered by trustees.

The money is held in trust in the event of an environmental issue threatens Teigngrace Village and its surrounding environment.

Provision of grants to the Parochial Church Council and Vicar and Church wardens of Topsham for provision for poor and upkeep of church and churchyard.

We seek to listen, help and care for people on Saturday nights between 10.00pm and 3.00am in Okehampton. Our volunteers provide assistance where required and help diffuse tensions and anti-social behaviour. All volunteers are DBS checked and go through a comprehensive training programme. We are the Church working alongside the Council and Police in the night time economy.

Educational and social activities for women.

Developed good relationships with organisations who have made considerable donations. Supported funding for medical equipment, improved facilities, toys and games, training and education.

It gives its members the opportunity of working and learning together by providing a wide range of leisure and learning activities. We work together to improve the quality of life in the community and to enhance the position of women by developing their skills and talents. We influence decision makers at all levels and are consulted by Government on major matters of social concern.

Relief of poverty in local people

We are an independant local branch of the Radio Amateurs Emergency Network (RAYNET) who specialise in providing the community with communication facilities in times of emergency, and Public Safety at community events. We provide specialist communications links for community events attracting crowds from a few hundred to several thousands, and assist other Raynet groups nationally.

Parish allotments

Activities focus on the advancement of the Baha'i Faith and belief in the essential oneness of the world's revealed religions and on Baha'i ideals of human brotherhood through various means including devotional meetings, children's classes, youth activities, study sessions and interfaith involvement.

The provision of bi monthly digital recorded media and audio cassettes if requested for blind and sight impaired persons in the Exeter area

The Okement Rivers Improvement Group (ORIG) is a voluntary organisation which undertakes activities to conserve the wildlife and amenity value of the two rivers. East and West Okement rivers. Environmental/Heritage projects include reinstatement of weir to help migratory fish. Partnerships with environment agency and West Country Rivers Trust. The public assist with river corridor litter pick ups.
