FORCE Cancer Charity is based in the Westcountry and is dedicated to assisting local people affected by cancer. The charity provides patient support at our purpose built centre, supports innovation, funds a local research programme and purchases "state of the art" equipment for local cancer treatment centres.The charity was established in 1987 (reg charity no 29688) but incorporated in 2011.

Taunton Theatre Association advances education for the public benefit through the promotion and encouragement of the performing arts, the creative arts and the visual arts primarily in, but not limited to, Somerset. It operates the Brewhouse Theatre in Taunton and offers a wide programme of public performance, exhibitions and community engagement activities associated with performance and art.

The provision and maintenance of recreational facilities for the benefit of the inhabitants of West Dorset and its neighbourhood without distinction of political, religious or other opinions with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants. Secret World Wildlife Rescue (SWWR) exists to relieve the suffering of British wildlife, to encourage respect and tolerance for wildlife and to further its conservation. We do this by: Providing a public rescue, rehabilitation and release service for injured, sick and orphaned wildlife; educating the public, delivering conservation projects, disseminating data and delivering professional training.

Refurnish collects unwanted reusable household goods throughout Devon, Plymouth & Torbay to reduce the amount of goods going to waste & help alleviate poverty by providing them at low cost to local people. Electrical goods are professionally tested/repaired. We create employment, training and volunteering opportunities particularly for people who are long term unemployed and/or have support needs.

(1) The relief of poverty and distress among disabled persons in particular by providing or assisting in the provision of mobility aids.(2) The provision to such persons of equipment for the purpose of increasing their mobility and the provision of training in the use of such equipment.

Abbeyfield Tamar Extra Care Society provides residential care for the elderly and infirm persons.

Caring for people in the Sid Valley with life limiting illnesses
