Tipton St John Community Hall is used extensively by a variety of organizations in the village and the surrounding area, including the adjacent Primary School. Hallmark level 3 (the top quality standard) was achieved in August 2015.The trustees are committed to fairness and transparency in all dealings relating to the hire of the facilities.

It provides community transport services in the Tavistock, West Devon and East Cornwall areas through the operation of the Tavistock Country Bus.

the charity has four cottages that are rented out to local people. at the end of the year part of the money in the bank generated from the rents minus any expenditure is divided between Widecombe Church and Widecombe Educational Foundation

Our trustee member organisations offer the following activities:- preschool, toddlers, brownies, dancing, lunch club, fitness sessions, art club, bowling, military modelling, annual church Christmas fair, annual village fete, pantomime group, craft club, gardening club, whist club.

Noahs Place supports adults with learning disabilities within a safe secure and nurturing environment, providing them with the opportunity to develop horticultural skills, agricultural, maintenance and woodworking skills whilst joining in with others in a variety of different activities. This we feel is a way of overcoming many of the disadvantages which people with learning disabilities face.

Exeter Chamber Choir aims to advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects by any means the trustees see fit, including through the presentation of publicconcerts and recitals.
