THE PROVISION OF POSITIVE ACTIVITIES FOR RURAL YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 10 TO 28

The advancement of the education of the public in the culture, local history, arts,flora,fauna, geographic and historic features of Dartmoor and neighbouring areas by the provision of lectures, published research and organised excursions and by providing advice, information and support on the preservation of the unique features of the area and its landscape.

The charity's activity is to promote,improve,develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music, in particular choir singing, by the presentation of public concerts and recitals.

The Charity provides rooms for use by the public and puts on activities for the people and children in the village and surrounding area.

A varied range of events take place annually to raise money for our school, such as the Halloween Disco, Christmas and Summer Fayres and Chocolate Bingo but we also work hard to offer new, one-off and alternative activities. The 50/50 Club is our ongoing, regular fundraising activity.

The friends of Stoke Fleming Primary School are a team of parents who organise a variety of events throughout the year. All our profits provide the school with essential equipment & resources.

RAFFLES,

Awarding grants to individuals, who must be aged under 25 at the time of application and living within a radius of 15 miles of Exeter, for educational purposes, such as assisting towards the purchase of clothing, tools, books and other course equipment, or for help towards fees and relevant expenses at recognised schools, training colleges and universities.

The village hall is a voluntary run charity. Most of the money that is raised through fund raising events is used for the maintenance and upkeep of the hall for the benefit of our community, family and friends.
