FORCE Cancer Charity is based in the Westcountry and is dedicated to assisting local people affected by cancer. The charity provides patient support at our purpose built centre, supports innovation, funds a local research programme and purchases "state of the art" equipment for local cancer treatment centres.The charity was established in 1987 (reg charity no 29688) but incorporated in 2011.

Taunton Theatre Association advances education for the public benefit through the promotion and encouragement of the performing arts, the creative arts and the visual arts primarily in, but not limited to, Somerset. Through its four support centres, Wessex Cancer Support provides free, local and personalised emotional support to anyone affected by cancer in Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight. Clients may have cancer themselves, be adjusting to life after cancer or supporting someone with cancer.

THE FOUNDATION WORKS WITH INDIVIDUALS, COMPANIES AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS TO ASSIST IN DELIVERING THEIR CHARITABLE AIMS, AND DEVELOP LONGER-TERM STRATEGIC PHILANTHROPY PROGRAMMES. THIS WORK ENABLES THE FOUNDATION TO DISTRIBUTE GRANT FUNDING TO DORSET BASED COMMUNITY GROUPS AND CHARITIES THAT PROVIDE SERVICES AND SUPPORT TO PEOPLE AND COMMUNITIES WITHIN BOURNEMOUTH, POOLE AND ACROSS DORSET.

To apply income and capital towards such charitable purposes as the Trustees may in their absolute discretion think fit. Secret World Wildlife Rescue (SWWR) exists to relieve the suffering of British wildlife, to encourage respect and tolerance for wildlife and to further its conservation. We do this by: Providing a public rescue, rehabilitation and release service for injured, sick and orphaned wildlife; educating the public, delivering conservation projects, disseminating data and delivering professional training.

The Lantern is an independent charity, founded in 1983 which seeks to benefit vulnerable and marginised people in the Weymouth and Portland area through its resource centre and by working closely and professionally with other agencies. The Lantern offers a range of services including advocacy,housing, benefits advice, counselling, support groups, crisis response, frontline practical support.

The Charity operates in Dorset and Hampshire, operating 13 Charity Shops.The profits of which are used to help and support those who have, or have had Breast Cancer.ie equipment needed in Hospitals that would not have been supplied by the NHS.The Charity has also set up it's own Breast Cancer Support Centre in Wimborne, where financial help and advice can be given regarding post op wigs/bras
