Taunton Theatre Association advances education for the public benefit through the promotion and encouragement of the performing arts, the creative arts and the visual arts primarily in, but not limited to, Somerset. It operates the Brewhouse Theatre in Taunton and offers a wide programme of public performance, exhibitions and community engagement activities associated with performance and art.

FORCE Cancer Charity is based in the Westcountry and is dedicated to assisting local people affected by cancer. The charity provides patient support at our purpose built centre, supports innovation, funds a local research programme and purchases "state of the art" equipment for local cancer treatment centres.The charity was established in 1987 (reg charity no 29688) but incorporated in 2011.

The Foundation makes grants to charitable bodies in accordance with the objects set out in the trust deed. The Countryside Restoration Trust is the UK's leading charity promoting wildlife-friendly farming and campaigning for a living, working countryside. The Trust believes that wildlife is integral to good farming. That philosophy is put into practice on over 1500 acres of working farms, small holdings and woodland across the country.

The Lantern is an independent charity, founded in 1983 which seeks to benefit vulnerable and marginised people in the Weymouth and Portland area through its resource centre and by working closely and professionally with other agencies. The Lantern offers a range of services including advocacy,housing, benefits advice, counselling, support groups, crisis response, frontline practical support.

Through its four support centres, Wessex Cancer Support provides free, local and personalised emotional support to anyone affected by cancer in Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight. Clients may have cancer themselves, be adjusting to life after cancer or supporting someone with cancer.

We are a user-Led organisation. Our mission is "To enable and empower disabled people and carers to have independence, choice and control in their lives". We work through consultation, representation and service provision to fulfil our mission.
