Village Hall for the benefit of the residents of the Parish of Pentridge

Presentation of public concerts and recitals, promotion of choral music and choral singing; choral workshops.

The advancement of education and in particular the education of people not in full time gainful employment who are in their Third Age (being the period of time after the first age of childhood dependence and the second age of full time employment and/or parental responsibility) residing in Milford on Sea and its surrounding locality.

Provides 6 units of accommodation for elderly people who have previously lived in the area. Should preferably have been in rented accommodation and have little in the way of assets. Low rent compared with market.

Day centre on Mondays during term time - providing a social day out for lonely elderly of Corfe Mullen.

Organising projects, providing service to the community and raising donations, for local, national and charitable purposes. Local club of the world wide Rotary movement.

Provision and maintainance of village hall, for use of inhabitants of Parishes of Cattistock and Chilfrome

Village Hall management

Provision of facilities to local bodies for Parish Council purposes, WomenÔÇÖs Institute purposes, local Church functions, use of facilities by private individuals through the year, hire of equipment. Opportunity for the villages to meet in a fund-raising social and formal atmosphere through Summer Ball, New Year Party, Bingo evenings, donations to local Air Ambulance and Village Green.

School disco, summer fair, Christmas fair, fireworks display and other school-based fundraising activities.

Offering horse-riding to physically and/or mentally disabled children and young adults

Provide the necessary guidance to individuals to allow such individuals to advance their motorcycling skills to the standard required to become a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists.

We organise charitable events for the benefit of the village.The hall is used for several local groups.

Donate IT is a charity (and CIC) based in Wincanton, Somerset that refurbishes locally donated devices, (smart phones, PC's laptops and digital tablets) . The devices are wiped and reset to factory settings and then given back to the people that need them.Those that cannot be wiped are sent to sustainable and responsible waste organisations. We have diverted thousands of devices from landfill.

Build model railway layouts to the best standards possible within the Club membership; Assist members with their own modelling; Improve members' abilities and skills , especially junior members; exhibit and demonstrate to the general public; and carry out other activities to achieve the Club's objectives.

The charity's activities are governed by the trust will dated 31 January 1996. The objects are to support such charitable purposes which shall benefit wholly or mainly the inhabitants of the parish of Symondsbury, Bridport, Dorset as the trustees may in their absolute discretion select.

We look after the running of the Reading Room which is a facility for local groups to use as a meeting room. e.g. Senior citizens' Whist Drive, Pilates classes, Art Club .

To provide grants for projects in the parish of Alderholt in order to improve facilities for the purposes of education, mental and physical wellbeing, sport, recreation or other leisure activities, with the object of benefiting the inhabitants of Alderholt and the surrounding area.
