Dorset Reclaim operates across Dorset & western Hampshire as a furniture re-use project, collecting surplus electrical appliances, household items and furniture from local people and businesses.Our aims are to supply good quality items at low cost, provide a range of volunteering and training opportunities and to reduce the amount going to landfill by service provision and education.

Plants and Minds uses horticulture to offer realistic supportive meaningful pressure-free work rehabilitation to adults with severe and enduring mental illness. The principal activity of the trust is the ownership and running of The Marine Theatre. The main activity is theatrical productions and the running of a Youth theatre. Activities also include hiring out of theatre to local user groups and for private functions.

The charity promotes the work and objects of the National RSPCA being to prevent cruelty, promote kindness to and alleviate suffering of animals, in the West Dorset and Axminster Devon area. It takes into care and rehomes unwanted and stray pets, assists owners with payment for veterinary treatment, and contributes to South West regional RSPCA schemes.

Providing an opportunity for young people to experience the demands and joys of participating in the choral or technical theatre aspects of opera production, through a residential summer school, alongside highly experienced professional soloist/tutors, production staff and orchestra, culminating typically in six public opera performances and a gala concert.

Theatre, Cinema and Community Arts Centre for the benefit of the inhabitants of Swanage and in particular for the use of meetings, lectures and classes or for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of providing further education and improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

We are a nursery that opens for 50 weeks of the year and takes children from 5 months to school age.

Work-coaches support vulnerable people to thrive and enjoy 'real' working lives in the charity's trading companies and to learn new skills as part of the charity's micro-enterprises.

Run the annual Dorset County Show incorporating classes for livestock, horticulture, homecraft and horses. Use the Show to promote agriculture in all its forms.
