Monitoring of and commenting on planning applications which have an impact on buildings in Kingston upon Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire from the Georgian era. Supporting the publication of books and archiving of material with relevance to the Georgian era in Kingston upon Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire. Organising visits to buildings & talks with Georgian connections.

The Charity provides two properties and is responsible for the upkeep of them. Apart from holding an annual meeting and other meetings as and when required, they enter into no other "activites".

Various fund raising activities

To help fund the preservation and general maintenance of the fabric and churchyard of St. Michael's Church, Cherry Burton

The promotion and advancement of the education of the public in the cultivation, appreciation and study of the decorative and fine arts; the conservation and preservation of the artistic heritage of the United Kingdom and other countries for the benefit of the public; the advancement of the arts, culture and heritage, in particular, but without limitation, the decorative and fine arts.

The village hall is run to provide a meeting place for local clubs, social groups, and family parties.

Welfare of serving and ex-serving Air Force people and their dependants

Spiritualist church, providing church services, spiritual healing, funeral services, providing a listening ear, and spiritual advice and comfort where requested

To bring succour to and comfort the sick, aged,infirm or afflicted and to assist the poor and needy of the area, namely Goole and the area within a 15 mile radius of the Charity's registered office.

Playing wheelchair basketball for people with physical disabilities and learning difficulties. Allowing them to take part in sport and to mix socially with other people of similar difficulties. Buying and maintaining very expensive wheelchairs.

Manages recreational space and equipment in the centre of the village

To relieve the need for families with sick and disabled children, in particular but not exclusively, by offering financial help towards the cost of specialist equpiment/toys/treatments/days out any any other forms of respite and assistance.

Grants for any educational purpose to young people up to the age of 25 who have lived in the village of Leven for 3 or more years. Also grants to organisations in Leven who deal with young people.

General charitable purposes

To advance, improve and maintain the education of the public in the arts, particularly the arts of drama, music, dance and film and to support the provision of improved facilities at Pocklington Arts Centre by fund raising, volunteering and enabling public to make use of the centre (particularly young people).

For the benefit of the public/ local community we take in abandoned and unwanted dogs from the Yorkshire Coast Area, provide any necessary medical treatment and place them in kennels or foster homes until new homes are found.

Running and maintaining the village hall for the benefit of the people of Etton to provide a meeting place for a range of community, social and recreational activities appropriate for a small village.

We are a mixed choir of about 35 members aiming to help people enjoy singing and develop their musical talents through training, rehearsal and public performances. Our concerts are mainly to raise funds for local charities and good causes.
