Manages Wannock Village hall for hire to the general public. It is responsible for the maintenance & evolution of the hall to keep up with legislative standards.

The Kelsey Trust's objects are 'to help children and young adults aged 21 and below in England and Wales who are from deprived backgrounds and/or are mentally and/or physically disabled to enjoy a better quality of life by making grants of money for providing or paying for items, services or facilities'.

Involved in raising money for the School using a variety of events and activities

Collection of fund through various events during the year, including Village Fete and Bonfire and Firework display. Other events such as Village Panto and raffles raise fund. In April we redistribute these finds to local good causes and Charities for the local youth and elderly.

To provide powered scooters, wheelchairs and other equipment for use by disabled persons to improve their mobility in Eastbourne town centre and the seafront.

Owning land which it is seeking to develop to benefit young adults with profound and multiple disabilities and a project to enable young people to engage in sailing and other outdoor activities.. It is currently seeking planning permission for the site it owns.

The advancement of public education and the protection and preservation of good health of the public by the provision of education and training in Ki and Mind and Body Unification.

To advance in life and help young people aged fourteen to twenty four, in Mid Sussex through the provision of adventure training, including expedition training and expeditions for young people working towards the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, in order to develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals.

Sussex 4x4 Response provides assistance to the community, normally but not exclusively by the use of the members' own 4x4 vehicles, particularly in times of adverse weather conditions or in respect of major incidents or where ordinary vehicles are unable to traverse the terrain involved. The charity also assists other charities from time to time with logistical and marshalling support.

The charity maintains the village hall for the benefit of and use by the village community and residents.

scouting/ youth activities for boys and girls aged 6-18

The Charity's objectives are to further the education of children and adults in the environs of Sussex. Its principal activity is to provide examination facilities for Cambridge ESOL. English as a foreign language examinations are held throughout the year. Facilities for other examinations may also be provided.

VILLAGE HALL

Plumpton Scout Group have 12 beavers and 22 scouts 10 cubs, however Training takes place over the winter and summer months ie camping skills, survival hikes, swimming, potholing, knots-lashing, DIY skills.

Learning and performing choral works with professional orchestras and soloists. Also visiting and entertaining residents in local nursing homes.

Provides opportunities for members, usually in the older age group, to participate in self-help educational & leisure activities in an affordable way.

Affiliated to the national Riding for the Disabled Association , Eridge RDA provides riding for disabled people, including children with learning difficulties from one local maintained special schools and also children with specialeducational needs attending mainstream schools.

The Shed provides a social environment where older people can meet and pursue a project for their own benefit or for the wider community, using the added expertise and experience of fellow members. It provides a friendly environment that allows members to participate within the limits of their ability. There are opportunities to increase self-worth and counteract the effects of exclusion.

Rye & District Day Centre provides, social interaction to the elderly people of Rye, & Surrounding Villages. The Hub on Rye Hill is open on Tuesday & Wednesday for our members to enjoy social chat tea/coffee and biscuits. Two course lunch, art and craft, quizzes, word/board games, toe nail cutting. Transportation can be arranged.
