Our purpose statement is to live and share Jesus in our community and we are finding new and exciting ways to do this as we serve the community we are part of. These activities include monthly day care centre and parent, carers & toddlers club

Cake Club offers support and solidarity to parents in Essex (across Southend and Rochford), as a grassroots, parent-led organisation with a focus on peer support alongside more skilled support in specific areas such as infant feeding and perinatal mental health. Weekly groups run Monday-Friday, as well as monthly weekend groups. Online support is also available.

The charity operates a winter night shelter, providing overnight accommodation and food for rough sleepers and the homeless. It works, year round, to support users with other aspects of their lives. These include drug, alcohol and mental health issues, financial guidance and "move on" housing options.

To promote the whole mission of the Church in the Ecclesiastical Parish of Halstead and to support the wider church.

Regular public Worships open to all. Provision of sacred space for prayer & contemplation. Pastoral work. The teaching of Christianity through sermons, groups, courses, religious assemblies in schools and youth work.Promotion of Christianity through activities for all ages including events, meetings, distribution of literature, and special need groups. To provide, or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure-time occupation with the objective of improving the conditions of life for pupils of schools, universities and colleges in any part of the United Kingdom and the general public in the Saffron Walden area.

The PCC has the responsibility together with the incumbent in promoting in the ecclesiastical parish of Tiptree with Tolleshunt Knights & Gt. Braxted in the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, Social and ecumenical. It also has maintenance responsibilities for the Church buildings and associated graveyards. Our extension is in regular use by groups from the wider community.

Providing young people aged 16-25 with a home and support to overcome homelessness in Colchester. Helping them realise their potential and thrive, by providing accommodation, resources, holistic support and guidance enabling them to develop the character, skills and confidence to live independently.

Church of England parish church, serving the population of Great Burstead and Ramsden Crays.

Chelmsford Garden Community Trust (CGCT), formally Beaulieu Community Trust (BCT), primarily exists to further or benefit the residents of Chelmsford Garden Community by working with those residents and local stakeholders in a common effort to develop and maintain an all-inclusive, healthy and vibrant community. A key role for the Trust is management of the Beaulieu Community Centre.

The Parochial Church Council of the Ecclesiastical Parish of Coggeshall with Marks Hall is responsible for managing the administrative, fabric and financial activities of St Peter ad Vincula Church and St Nicholas' Chapel, both of Coggeshall and both Grade 1 listed buildings.

In fulfilling the Purpose, the Church will engage in a range of activities either on its own or with others that will vary from time to time with Activities being initiated, expanded, or closed as appropriate.

The Empire Theatre is a not for profit community project providing live shows, live music, comedy and entertainment for the town of Halstead and surrounding areas, also provides space for groups and organisations to use for performing arts classes and performances.

Christian Worship and service

The Parochial Church Council of St Marys Church is responsible for the upkeep and running of our parish church, vicarage and church hall. Three services are held on a Sunday and one midweek. There is a programme of instruction for children between 3 and 15 years old. Comfort and support is administered to the needy and the sick by clergy and members of the church where necessary.

Religious activities

We are providing services from our Centre which include GP/Well Person Clinic, Law Centre/CAB, Quiet room facilities and Women & Senior Citizens Circles. There is a independent children's nursery operating from our premises. We also hire out the halls for different functions. The centre is also used to raise the education standard in the area.

The Advancement of Christianity

Providing food and guidance at street level and accommodation to and advancing the care of ex- service personnel including Mental health issues / PTSD support and any other concerns is available through the charity Day centre/hub.The charity offer free respite breaks in two locations staying in static holiday homes (charity owned) available to former members of her Majesty's armed force.

Our charity is training the youths to take up challenges which will be of help immensely in their future roles. We as a charity are providing care for the needy and help other charitable organisations in terms of financial support.

Advancement of the Christian faith including pastoral care and social action.This includes:Financial support and food parcels for homeless and vulnerable people.Financial support to school hardship funds.Support for widows/widowers and families.Children's activities.Visitation to retirement homes.Financial support for children's homes, orphanages and missionaries overseas.
