Promoting in the Parish the whole mission of the Church

The charity provides facilities for recreation and sports for use by the People of Braintree. This comprises sports fields, hard courts and Gym areas. The Charity currently hosts several local football teams, an armature boxing club and a martial arts club on a regular basis.

The Charity exists to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ and to teach people the bible. All our activities reflect these core goals. The Church arranges or participates in a number of activities to this end, namely Bible Confrences, Marriage Seminars, Men's Dicipleships, Revival Meetings with visiting preachers, Tent Crusades (home and abroad)

Stour Valley Vineyard Church meets regularly to worship, pray, teach from the Bible and encourage one another. We run Storehouse - our compassion ministry including Storehouse foodbank, aiming to help local families and individuals in crisis. We run Alpha courses to help people on their journey of discovering who God is. We've also had baptisms and run numerous 'giveaways' to bless the community.

Miss Alice Foakes gave the Foakes Hall to the town in 1934. It now provides a range of well-maintained and varied facilities at moderate prices (available on request) for the local community. These include a large main hall, smaller side hall and a meeting room, stage and scenery store, well-equipped kitchen and bar area and a projection room.

PROVISION OF PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATION

Great Bardfield Preschool is a rural preschool giving educational development to children aged between 2years old and four years old.

We are a small pre-school offering sessional childcare during term time for children between 2-4 years old.

PRE-SCHOOL FOR LOCAL CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF FIVE (5) BUT OVER THE AGE OF TWO (2).

To advance the Christian faith ,to relieve persons who are in conditions of need or hardship or who are aged or sick and to relieve stress and to promote and fulfil other charitable purposes beneficial to the community in Epping Forest District and other parts of the United Kingdom or the world.

A vibrant expanding church seen as one of the towns major focal points\venues Services are supported by a large team Our building is used for Anglican worship & hosts community groups from other faiths or from no faith at all Uses are varied - concerts;exhibitions;drama;dance;toddler group A warm welcome is given to able & disabled (physically & mentally) young & old (from babies to centenarians!)

PROVIDE PRE-SCHOOL FOR CHILDREN AGED 2 1/2 - 5 YEARS

The Charity exists to support and help people with cerebral palsy, or similar disability, and their carers. Its present main activity is the Castlegate Centre. The Centre also serves as a venue for other activities organised for the benefit of people with disability and their carers.

Chelmsford Vineyard a Christian Church part of the Vineyard Chruches UK and Ireland. Operating principly to promote Chritianity and support the local community in the City of Chelmsford.

Kirby-le-Soken Evangelical Church meets every Sunday at 11:00 and 18:30 for the public worship of Almighty God and welcomes all who are in the neighbourhood to come and hear the Bible explained. During the week there is a Mums and Toddlers group, a Prayer Meeting and Bible Study, and a Coffee Morning.

The object of the charity is to assist necessitous persons who are, or have been, in the service of Reuters Ltd or any of its subsidiaries and the dependents of such persons.

RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES (CHURCH OF ENGLAND)

The Parish of Widford has two churches; the parish church of St. Mary and Church of the Holy Spirit. We offer services on Sundays and during the week hold groups and activities for the community from new born in Toddler group to people in their 90's.

Rental of Theatre, Dance Studios and associated facilities to public and private companies and individuals. Current customers include NHS Blood Donor, NHS Diabetes Team, Local Music Society, Painting Classes for Disabled, Dance & Theatre Company, Comedy Club and Theatre entertainment.

WE STUDY, RECORD AND PUBLISH ESSEX NATURAL HISTORY AND GEOLOGY BY FIELD MEETINGS, EXHIBITION MEETING, AGM, SHOW, PUBLISHING JOURNALS AND BOOKS, TEACH COURSES AND OUR GROWING WEBSITE FACILITY, AND FUND SIMILAR GROUPS.
