We are a chapel serving the community in a variety of ways. We run a Community Cafe including our toddler group, Food Pantry. We have services twice a month, host retreat days.

1. Provide table tennis playing and coaching facilities for all regardless of sex, age, disability, ethnicity or beliefs. 2. Support junior and senior table tennis teams in local and national leagues.3. Provision of 5 star English Table Tennis Association facilities for all ages and abilities.4. Provide and operate a sports centre for healthy sport and activities for the local community.

The role of the Parochial Church Council (PCC) is to oversee the running of the activities of the ministry and the churches in the Parish of Great Waltham with Ford End. This includes att matters related to church services, the maintenance and improvement of the churches and churchyards and delivering the ministry in the wider community

To relieve the condition of disadvantaged persons in mid-Essex experiencing difficulties with homelessness, joblessness, substance misuse, physical and mental health problems, learning difficulties by the provision of support services to assist them in maintaining normal relationships with and within their community.

Religious and social activities in Vange Basildon. Church services are Sunday mornings at 11am. Youth meetings Fridays at 8pm. Other activities and groups meet both in our building and via Zoom online. Unless stated otherwise all activities take place in the church building.

CHARITY RUN PRESCHOOL

We are a Pre-school located in Weeley Essex, offering childcare for 2 - 5 years term time only. This year we completed one of our projects, to have a large canopy for our children to be able to play outside in all weathers. This was an amazing achievement for us, as we have been saving and holding events for many year to raise the funds.

North Avenue Youth Centre is a youth centre in Chelmsford currently operating out of the United Reformed Church, North Avenue, Chelmsford. The centre, mainly but not exclusively, draws young people from the Melbourne estate and surrounding areas. It provides a full range of youth activities and programmes to enable the young people to reach their full potential as individuals.

The Essex Agricultural Society aims to raise the profile of the food and farming industry to the general public and to act as a route for communication between the Society, its members, the farming and non-farming communities and schools.
