Praise Chapel Rainham is a family church in Rainham village.We are currently involved in various activities in the local community; Employability skills training,tutoring for school age children, mentoring teenage parents, befriending and helping the elderly and various other initiatives?.

The Society holds Hedge Laying training events, competitions, gives demonstrations at agricultural shows and countryside careers events. It issues a newsletter to its members.

The charity's principal activities continues to be advancing the Christian faith, relieving persons in conditions of need or hardship advancing education in accordance with Christian principles.

Village Hall Hire

The NFU Essex Charitable Trust was created to further the understanding of farming and the countryside in Essex, as well as offering support to those in need and involved in agricultural and rural communities in the county. The funds were originally collected from farmers within the county and used to support the local work of the National Farmers Union.

The Rayleigh Town Museum will showcase our town's rich and varied heritage and will be open 4 days a week (Wed/Fri/Sat/Sun) from 10am till 4pm all year. Admission will be free.We will have a range of displays, regularly rotated, exhibits, and a lecture theatre for films and presentations, for both education and leisure.There will be special exhibitions and events throughout the year.

Advancement of the Buddhist religion by teaching meditation and Buddhism at public classes, training members of the charity and others towards ordination as a Buddhist, providing facilities for worship.

Professional Counselling ServiceRetreats & Pilgrimages

To provide a village hall for use by local individuals, groups and organisations.

To act as a resource for young people living in the area of Rochford District Council and thesurrounding areas, by providing advice and assistance and organising programmes of physical,educational and other activities

We are a scout group for young people aged between the ages of 6 and 14. We are a mixed gender group. We run a full indoors and outdoors scout programme for Beaver, Cub and Scout sections. We operate in Rayleigh, Essex.

Maintenance and administration of the premises. Activities include: Pre-school, badminton, carpet bowls, aerobics, table tennis, croquet, senior citizens club, karate, childrens dance,disabled group post office, .

(a) To further the work of the Church by the ringing of bells and to promote all aspects of the same. (b) The advancement of the education of the public in the art and science of bellringing, by promoting and encouraging the practice of bellringing and by supporting the recruitment, training and development of bellringers.

Support and fund raising for St Nicholas School to advance the education of its pupils and develop effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school.

PROVIDING INFORMATION, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES, YOUTH & YOUNG PEOPLES DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES, HEALTH ADVICE, DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT AND FITNESS, HEALTH AND WELL BEING VIA SPORTS FOR THE GREATER COMMUNITY OF BARKING AND DAGENHAM AND SURROUNDING NEIGHBOURHOOD.

The trust provides counselling for those who are pregnant and worried, who have post abortion problems or distress about a miscarriage. Free pregnancy testing is available. The counselling is for men as well as women

Social clubs for the elderly and women groups, karate club, dance classes and pre-school. Hall hire for social functions.

Provides a village hall for all people of the local community to hire for recreation space for people of all ages.
