The Group provide Boating and Scouting activities including climbing, archery, camping, sailing and more to young people in Castle Point and the wider community. The Group encourages it's young members including, Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers to take part in training towards becoming Young Leaders and in taking approved boating qualifications.

The objects of the charity are to advance the education of young people in Norfolk particularly in the fields of the performing ,literary and visual arts; giving young people from diverse backgrounds many different platforms for performance and exhibition in a wide variety of art forms; and enabling them to learn a variety of educational and life skills through participation in creative activity.

The aims of the Charity are to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education & the appreciation of theatre, drama and the arts in all its aspects by, but not limited to:1 the preparation and presentation of theatre and music theatre performances by pre-dominantly disabled and under-privileged young people, but not exclusively: and2 the provision of workshops in theatre, drama & arts.

The hall is hired out to local people & organisations covering all ages, from a pre school group to the senior citizens club.We have many groups using our hall . We are also the chosen venue for local organisations such as the British Legion and Parish Council to hold their annual functions. The total income & expenditure covers hall & bar.Bar accounts are separated within our accounts.

Necessities UK provides adults and children with emergency food parcels to those in need. Necessities UK provides support in two ways to help our beneficiaries. Firstly, through our emergency response to provide food parcels to meet an immediate need and secondly through practical support that helps us to stop the cycle of poverty and hunger in our beneficiaries lives.

THE VILLAGE HALL IS USED THROUGHOUT OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY. HIRING FOR TEA DANCES, PRE-SCHOOL, DANCE , INDOOR BOWELS CLUBS ,AND SO ON. ALSO USED FOR WEDDINGS, FUNERALS AND CHRISTENINGS. IN THE SUMMER TIME THE FIELDS AROUND THE HALL ARE USED FOR FUND RAISING EVENTS WITH THE VILLAGE HALL BEING THE CENTRE.

The Daycentre provides a warm space, social interaction & freshly cooked lunches at moderate prices between 10am & 2pm every Tuesday and Thursday, for the local residents over 55. This is funded by rental of the premises to a variety of organisations for their activities with particular emphasis on groups supporting the over 55's eg Blind & Housebound & Alzheimer's groups.

Provision and maintenance of a village hall for the use of inhabitants in the Parish of Roydon for meetings, lectures and classes, and other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving their conditions of life.

CHAOS provides free camping holidays for disadvantaged children who would not otherwise have one. It operates in East London and serves boroughs including Barking & Dagenham, Newham, Redbridge, Waltham Forest, Tower Hamlets, Havering and Hackney. Recommendations for places on CHAOS holidays are usually made through the charity's links with schools, social services and other welfare groups.

The After School Club provides a valuable service to the families of Great Bardfield Primary School offering out of school hours care for children.

Ingatestone Museum is a community museum depicting the social history of the parish and the important role the railway has played in the villages. It is intended to include changing displays of local community work.
