SCOUTING FOR BOYS & GIRLS AGED 6 - 16 YEARS

Scout group.

We provide environmental information and operate local environmental projects. We also run the www.reuseessex.org.uk website and attend events and promote environmentally friendly lifestyles. We operate in Essex primarily Colchester

Provision of Scouting for 6 to14 year olds.

Raises funds for South Green Schools, which are then distributed in grants for items and activities to enhance the children's education.

Provides village hall facilities to accommodate local clubs and societies and groups of individuals.

Our main purpose is to show Jesus to others. This is done through preaching God's Word in our services and outreach to the community through the church's own activities: youth clubs; women's fellowship; the Winter Night Shelter - one night a week for the local homeless community. The church is also used by the public for parties, groups like University of the 3rd Age and Christian seminars.

PROMOTING RELIGIOUS MORAL VALUE. AMONG ADULTS, YOUTHS AND THE CHILDREN, HELP IN REACHING OUT TO STUDENTS ON CHRISTIAN MORAL VALUES, HOLD CONFERENCES, SEMINAR FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITIES, HELP FOR CHURCH AND EMPOWERING PROJECTS AND TRAININGS. PRINT CHRISTIAN MATERIALS, ENRICH LIVES ON CHRISTIAN MATTERS, RADIO AND TELEVISION, SOCIAL MEDIA OUTREACH.

Weekly Prayer sessions and sermon. Conducting naming ceremonies, Nikkai, Firdous and all other activities requiring religious input. Conducting Eid Prayers.

Our main aim is to raise monies throughout each financial year by various activities such as Quiz Nights, Murder Mystery Evenings, Street Collections and Static Collections for example. We aim to distribute those funds to needy causes within the London Borough of Havering being the authority covering the area the club is located in.

Distribution of Bibles.

We hold events throughout the year in support of local charities, including Essex Air Ambulance, Muscular Dystrophy and Animal Rescue. We have also supported Farleigh?s Hospice, CHESS and Chelmsford Homeless Charity. It is our intention this year to support local and smaller charities. We have initiated a special charity fund from donations received via our Healing Group activities.

Our Charity provides facilities - main hall with stage, annexe hall, kitchen and cloakroom - for all groups and societies in our community. This includes also the Pantomime Group, both rehearsals and performances; Council Meetings every 6 weeks and the Playgroup every weekday morning during term time. It is also available to hire for private functions.

The charity offers financial aid to the elderly and young living in the district of Brentwood with preference for persons resident in the parish of Hutton. Requests are considered and approved by the trustees before aid is granted. Needs are often highlighted by local priests, church workers and headteachers. Requests are also made through the Citizens Advice Bureau.

Serving the people of Chrishall

Because of Covid our activities were mostly online, shared with our sister society, South Suffolk. We had our usual 9 monthly lectures with 2 bonus lectures in July and December. We had 3 special interest lectures and 3 Zoom and 2 actual visits, to Elton Hall and Chatham Docks. Contact with non-email users was by phone and post including a 2 edition newsletter. Live lectures start again in 2022.

The object of the HBO PTA&F is to advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by:1) Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school;2) Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

We operate across the UK targeting vulnerable and disadvantaged youth that need support and guidance. We provide opportunities for Employment, Education, Training, Mentorship, Sports and Recreation as well as Mental Health support.

The Charitable Trust is created for general charitable purposes for children / young people, elderly / old People, people with disabilities, other charities and voluntary bodies directly and by making grants to organisations.The Charity runs an annual firework display on 5 November and a Christmas float collection and other fundraising activities.
