Cantate was formed by Michael Kibblewhite in 1994 as a mixed voice youth choir, to provide keen young singers with high quality training in singing and performance skills. The membership of almost 180 boys and girls represent about 80 schools, colleges and universities mostly in Essex, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire. A Chamber Choir and a Parents Choir perform and support the youth choirs.

Local Authority administering the Larsen Recreation Ground for sporting and recreational activities for the residents of Waltham Abbey.

The object of the charity is to provide for the material and moral needs of persons resident in Fern Street and its neighbourhood, especially in conditions of need, hardship, or distress. The Settlement has a modern building currently used as a part of a joint project with All Hallows Bow Church.

To provide help for the needy, first in the parish of Margaretting and second in the Borough of Chelmsford. Applications for help are assessed by the trustees.

The management of Castle Hedingham Village Hall

Provision of facilities and activities to the residents of Messing and nearby .Hire of the hall and meeting room for events such as children's parties, charitable fund raising events, weddings, concerts, exhibitions etc to Messing residents and external hirers as deemed appropriate by the Committee.

Fundraising activities such as school fetes, fun runs, and quiz nights

Maintenance and management of the Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Great Holland for meetings, lectures. classes and other forms of recreation and leisure-time activities.

We are a Scout Group operating in Bishop's Stortford providing scouting activities for boys and girls as part of the Scout Movement.

Colchester Museums Development Foundation supports Colchester Museums to inspire and enrich the local community, through the preservation, exploration, and sharing of the town's heritage. The Foundation raises funds through donations, memberships and grants to support access, inclusion, community collaboration, and engagement with collections across Colchester Museums.

Raising funds for Church e. g. Calendars, Christmas cards + musical shows etc.

The group helps disabled children and adults benefit from the fun and companionship of spending time with horses. The riding sessions give a multisensory experience helping numeracy, speaking and listening skills and enable riders to co-operate with volunteer helpers and the horse. This also builds up confidence to help in other aspects of their lives.

To present shows (musicals) for the local community and to involve members of the local community on stage and off.

Ladies choir in South Woodham Ferrers Essex which promotes the declining art of singing; performs in public for the benefit of all and raises money for charitable purposes.

The advancement of religion for the public benefit by furthering Christianity through the operation of place of worship, providing religious services and ceremonies, missionary and outreach work, religious education (raising awareness and understanding of Christian beliefs and practices), pastoral care and carrying out interfaith activities amongst others.

The objects of the Leigh Folk Festival Association CIO are to further public education and understanding of traditional and contemporary folk arts including: 1. Music 2. Dance 3. Spoken word (poetry and storytelling) These will be achieved by a series of events throughout the year including a free festival during June.
