The Club organises a monthly meeting at a local hall with a lunch provided and recreational activities. The Club also organises day outings during the year to local resorts and places of interest. A small subsidy is provided by the club for each outing.

Advancing the education of the pupils of the Cathedral School, Chelmsford.

To raise funds to support local & International charities and charitable projects and to provide local support for individuals where needed.

Provision of a village hall for community activities

TO PROVIDE HOUSING FOR PEOPLE OVER 60

Maintaining of the Village Hall for the village and other hall users. Other fund-raising, all for the benefit of the local comminity.

Advancement of education at Colchester Institute and application of funding for the benefit of students of Colchester Institute.

SKT delivers projects for all including those with physical or sensory disabilities to- Educate and encourage the improvement of health, fitness physical well being and nutrition- Provide essential skills and awareness for the improvement and attainment of employment opportunities such as IT and soft skills- Encourage greater citizenship, participation in society and in group contexts.

Fundraising and running family events for Blackmore Primary School

To provide recreational facilities, playing fields/grounds, community centres etc for the benefit of the local community with the object of advancing education/health, relieving poverty/distress/sickness or in pursuing any charitable objects towards improving the condition of life of the persons for whom the facilities are primarily intendedTo raise funds for furtherance of these objectives

Scout Group. Includes activities for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts

Fund raising to advance the education of the pupils of the school

Religious

The provision and management of two almshouses for people of not less than sixty five years of age who have lived in the Maldon area for not less than ten years

General charitable activities for local community.

Provides a variety of classical choral music for the public to take part in or to listen to.

Raising money to support the primary school through activities; including school discos, summer and xmas fayres, raffles, uniform sales.

SCOUT GROUP.

Bancroft's Decorative and Fine Arts Society is a member society of NADFAS - National Association of Decorative & Fine Arts - serving a mature suburban area on the Greater London / Essex borders. Its principal activity is to provide a competent programme of lectures, study days & visits on a wide range of art & art history topics. Monthly lectures are delivered by NADFAS approved lecturers.

Education and training, religious activities.

Upkeep of the village hall, for use of meetings, social gatherings, hiring for childrens parties, and for all general use of the villages

The charity runs two ambulances which are used for in transporting patients to and from hospices, hospitals, etc. The charity also runs day care projects for the chronically ill.

Promotion of classical music, including the Essex Young Musician of the Year to encourage young performers.
