Pen-y-ffordd Tennis Club is a small village club that exists to enhance the well-being of the local community by providing an opportunity to participate in healthy outdoor activities at minimal cost. The club provides for all age groups with a particular emphasis on encouraging younger members of the community to help stay healthy through their participation in friendly sporting competition.

The objective of the CIO is to maintain and improve the fabric and facilities of the Kenyon Hall Holt Wrexham, so that it is always available for the use and benefit of the general public of Holt and the surrounding areas.

We provide safe, stimulating play and early education for 2 1/2 to 4 year olds by fully qualified staff in the Flintshire/Wrexham areas. We are a provider for the government child care offer and early entitlement schemes as well as accepting children registered with us by their parents/carers. We actively engage with our local community and primary school to carry out fundraising activities.

After School Club for children who attend St Mary's Catholic Primary School in Flint.

Maintain and administer the facilites of the village community centre for use by or for the local residents

Encourage the breeding, maintenance & improvement of breed standards for Holstein cattle & the promotion of show, sales, other events, production & circulation of publicity material & information to advance the education of the public in the knowledge of Holstein Cattle. Encourage & educate young people by offering of scholarships & bursaries.

We are based in Trelogan, Flintshire, within a Community Centre.We plan themed activities that are suitable for children aged 2 1/2 years to pre-school age.We are self funded and rely on fundraising and fees for Playgroup sessions which are held 3 mornings a week during school term.

The promotion of agriculture, for the public benefit, in particular but not exclusively by:Promoting responsible working sheepdog ownership, breeding and training.Promoting matters pertaining to dog welfare in general. Improving the working standard of working sheepdogs by organising and promoting open and members only sheepdog trials.

Advancement of Education, relief of poverty, advancement of religion, relief in sickness, aid to elderly persons, aid for social, recreational, aesthetic, architectural, historical & scientific matters, medical research, probationers, visually impaired and emergency or disasters & other charitable organisations

Village Hall for community and private use

Managing the community centre to enable various user groups to hire the centre

Communion services, public lectures, fund raising, Bible study classes, correspondence courses, Sunday School, preaching campaigns

Concerts given mainly for charitable purposes in church and village halls etc.

To manage the village hall and to promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Ysceifiog without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, nationality, race or political, religious or other opinions the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities

Provide funds for equipment for H M Stanley Eye Unit

The charity operates the Leeswood Community Centre for the benefit of the community of Leeswood and Pontblyddyn.

Provision and maintenance of Community Hall. Provision of activities to provide recreation and leisure to the local community.

We operate in the Holywell area, our members consist of Boys & Girls between the ages of 6 and 14. We provide a programme of activities to help scouts find out about the world they live in, to encourage them to know their own abilities and to develop their creative talents. They also take part in traditional scouting skills such as camping, survival, cooking etc plus other adventurous activities.

UMBRELLA ORGANISATION OF THE JEWISH COMMUNITY IN MERSEYSIDE & ENVIRONS, REPRESENTS THE JEWISH COMMUNITY IN CIVIC, CULTURAL & FAITH LIFE, & ACTS AS FACILITATOR PROMOTING CO-OPERATION BETWEEN VOLUNTARY & STATUTORY AUTHORITIES. IT WORKS TO SHAPE FUTURE JEWISH LIFE ON MERSEYSIDE, FACILITATING & PROMOTING EDUCATIONAL, CULTURAL & RELIGIOUS ACTIVITY & INTERFAITH & INTER-ETHNIC UNDERSTANDING & HARMONY.

Our rehearsal and concerts aim to educate members and audiences in their knowledge and appreciation of classical music. No auditions are held. Activities: 2 concerts per year (November and April) using its choir and a professional orchestra and soloists. It is the only provider of live classical music in the borough and always provides specific information in its own extensive programme notes.

CONCERTS ARE GIVEN BY INDIVIDUAL CHOIRS WITHIN THE NORTH WALES FEDERATION IN SUPPORT OF LOCAL CHARITIES WITH THE BENEFIT OF PROMOTING MALE VOICE SINGING FOR ALL AGES WITHIN LOCAL COMMUNITIES. CONCERTS HAVE BEEN HELD RECENTLY AT BOTH BANGOR AND WREXHAM WHEN SMALLER CHOIRS COMBINED TO GIVE CONCERTS TO LARGER AUDIENCES IN SUPPORT OF LOCAL CHARITIES.

North Wales Cave Rescue Organisation provides an underground rescue service for caves and disused mines in North Wales in support of North Wales Police, who initiate all rescue callouts. Our activities include responding to rescue callouts from the Police, training our members and maintaining our equipment.

We offer an opportunity for young people from the Cheshire, Merseyside and North Wales area to perform in regular theatre performances and concerts, led by professionals and in a professional venue

Educational, health, religious and community initiatives are supported, particularly in those local to North Wales. National charities operating in North Wales are also supported.
