Hope House Children's Hospices provides palliative care for babies, children and young adults up to the age of 25 and support for their family. Care is provided at home, in hospital and at two specially designed hospices, Hope House in Shropshire and Ty Gobaith in North Wales. Services include respite, emergency care, end of life care, social work, sibling support and counselling.

Providing charitable support in the form of grants to organisations in Merseyside, West Cheshire, North Wales and North Shropshire which specialise in assisting young people, the disabled, the homeless and the disadvantaged.

To deliver the highest quality specialist palliative care through 12 bed In-patient Unit, Day Hospice, Out-Patient Clinics, Bereavement and Social Workers and Clinical Nurse Specialists in the community.

The Charity funds the church and parish structure within the Diocese. there is a church in each parish and, as well as offering worship, the church reaches out in ministry and service to the local community.

TO PROVIDE A SPECIALIST PALLIATIVE CARE SERVICE FOR PATIENTS WITH SPECIFIC LIFE-LIMITING ILLNESSES LIVING IN THE AREA COVERED BY WREXHAM HOSPITALS AND TO SUPPORT THEIR FAMILIES IN A CARING ENVIRONMENT. THE ACTIVITIES WILL BE UNDERTAKEN BY A SPECIALIST TRAINED MULTI-DISCIPLINARY TEAM WHO WILL PROVIDE SYMPTOM CONTROL, ASSESSMENT, TERMINAL CARE, ONGOING EMOTIONAL AND BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT + EDUCATION

PROVIDE DOMICILIARY SUPPORT TO VULNERABLE ADULTS IN THEIR OWN HOME

Vision Support is a regional charity providing local support and services to all vision impaired people living in Cheshire, Halton and North Wales. Established in 1876, our vision is to build a society where people with vision impairments, feel confident, capable and connected, living fulfilled, independent lives as active, valued community members with equal access to opportunities and resources.

To provide information, support and, if necessary, refuge accommodation to people who have, or, who are, suffering domestic abuse.

The provision of palliative and respite care to day and residential patients in a hospice environment for the people of North East Wales and providing support to our patients' families.

NORTH WEST CANCER RESEARCH FUNDS CANCER RESEARCH IN THE NORTH WEST OF ENGLAND AND NORTH-WALES. OUR RESEARCH IS MOSTLY CARRIED OUT IN OUR THREE CENTRES OF EXCELLENCE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF LIVERPOOL, LANCASTER UNIVERSITY AND UNIVERSITY OF WALES IN BANGOR

Support services for D/deaf and hard of hearing people throughout Cheshire and the surrounding areas

Owning and managing Zoological Gardens providing education and conservation benefits. Involvement in and/or management of in-situ and ex-situ projects in Wales and abroad. Providing education services. Providing training and relevant work experience opportunities.

The Charity provides support for patients and service users though enhancing healthcare services within the area served by Betsi Cadwaladr University LHB. The Charity specifically funds: additional equipment and facilities in hospitals and the community; improvements to hospital environments; research and education programmes; extra staff well being support and other special projects.

NEWCIS PROVIDES INFORMATION AND SERVICES TO FAMILY, FRIENDS AND VOLUNTEERS WHO PROVIDE UNPAID CARE TO RELATIVES, FRIENDS OR NEIGHBOURS ACROSS WALES. THE PEOPLE THEY PROVIDE CARE TO, COULD NOT LIVE IN THEIR OWN COMMUNITIES WITHOUT THE SUPPORT OF THEIR CARER. NEWCIS PROVIDES TRAINING, GRANTS, RESPITE BREAKS,COUNSELLING AND CARER GROUPS AND ACTIVITIES FOR THE UNPAID FAMILY CARER.

THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY IN THE UNITED KINGDOM BY: - PROVIDING FRESH MEALS TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED AND WORKING WITH CHARITIES OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY

To provide comprehensive , quality assured advice and information and an ongoing casework facility to ensure clients are supported until their problems / issues are fully resolved. Provide early intervention to prevent deterioration in clients circumstances and empower clients to make informed decisions about issues affecting them and their families. To provide representation where necessary.

The provision of community activities include swimming, football, climbing, squash, fitness classes, gym, softplay area, community events including bingo, table top sales, community cafe, private hire for school referrals, GP referral scheme, cardiac rehab, pre op cancer exercise group, meeting rooms for training courses or community meetings.

The Foundation's activities in the North Wales area include: Conserving the landscape; maintaining historic structures; educating the public about the heritage of the property; managing the gardens and woodlands of Plas Brondanw; applying sustainable principles to any improvements and new buildings; and promoting sustainable development and viable communities.

The charitable company is registered as a domiciliary care agency with the Care Inspectorate Wales, and employs trained carer support workers who work closely with families who have caring commitments. We deliver home based respite and emotional support specifically to carers and their families, and we also provide weekly and monthly support groups.

Specialist support and counselling services for anyone who has been subjected to any form sexual violence and sexual abuse, whether this has happened recently or in the past. Also specialist therapy services for children and young people aged from 3 up to 19.

We provide for public use a wide range of facilities for various competitive sports, personal fitness, leisure, recreational and learning activities based around its : Swimming pools, Gymnasium, Sports hall, Community/Dance studio, Cafe, Soft Play area, Library, Meeting rooms and Health Suite together with access to Ysgol Treffynnon High School Sports hall & 4G pitch.

The main aim of the charity is to take in unwanted and stray animals, care for them to the best of our ability and rehome them to responsible people. We also promote responsible pet ownership through local schools, etc.
