OUR ACTIVITIES INCLUDE RAISING FUNDS FOR ST JOHN THE BAPTIST V A SCHOOL BY ORGANISING COMMUNITY, NON PROFIT MAKING FUN EVENTS.

The charity raises funds for Hawarden Village Church School and directly benefits the children within the school.

The object of the association is to advance the education of the pupils in the school by developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school and engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils. We raise funds to do this by holding a range of events.

The running of a Village Hall for the use of members of the Community

Supporting schools and colleges through the local Christian community in the Prestatyn to Rhos-on-Sea area

RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

We are a community based organisation for women and we offer the opportunity for women to make friends, take part in workshops and events and to help make a difference in our community. We hold a monthly meeting at the Masonic Hall in Hawarden as well workshops and outdoor activities. We have at present 47 members.

Established in 2002, the North Wales Owl Sanctuary (owlrescue) operates a comprehensive facility for the care & rehabilitation of both wild and captive bred owls from the region, along with the promotion of owl conservation throughout the region.

MAKES GIFTS TO OTHER CHARITIES - E.g. NERCWYS CHURCH & COMMUNITY, HISTORIC GARDENS

Provides a meeting place for community groups and for individuals wishing to hire the premises for parties etc and other activities.

Organising training days and competitions in the art of ploughing and hedgelaying in Flintshire, North Wales

We perform musical concerts at various public events.

Awarding of financial assistance to 'good causes' in the former Hawarden Eclesiastical Parish.

A social club for adults with learning disabilities.

To manage the village hall and to promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Ysceifiog without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, nationality, race or political, religious or other opinions the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities

Scouting works well when young people enjoy learning in partnership with adults, by:- taking part in a variety of activities and new experiences, exploring the outdoors, participating in teams and taking responsibility.

To maintain village hall to provide meeting place for local community and promote cultural activities.

Donations to local charities in and arround Mold.

WE provide facilities for older people to meet and enjoy other peoples company, make friends play bingo and cards. Take them on trips to the seaside ,theatre and for meals.We also have organisations who give talks and imformation on health,budget and welfare.The area the club covers is Deeside in North Wales.

To encourage participation by people of all ages and abilities in garden related activities that are creative, sociable, educational, healthy and promotes wellbeing.

Miles of Smiles (Chester) Ltd sends sick and disabled children to Disneyland, Paris The charity welcomes approaches for nominations of suitable candidates to be considered for future trips from within Cheshire, Flintshire and Wirral.

We are a Beavers, Cubs & Scout Group in Broughton, Flintshire. We are committed to empowering young people through adventure, community service, and personal development. We provide a safe, inclusive, and fun environment where children and young adults can learn valuable life skills, build lasting friendships, and grow in confidence, enriching our community.

The charity awards grants to charitable institutions associated with Flint. The Board of Managers reviews applications for grants when received and grants are awarded at their discretion.

The main principle is that parents, staff and friends of the school all work together for the good of everyone in the school. Much of what we do is raise funds which will be spent to benefit the school.
