The aim of St Anthony's School Clwb Hapus Out of School Childcare Club, is to provide quaility, accessible Out of School Childcare offering a range of play activities in a welcoming atmosphere, allowing parent/carers in the local community to return to work/education/training.

Our charity makes donations to local organisations, such as the local hospice, hospital, and lifeboat, also to overseas appeals for aid.

Collection and publication of archaeological and historical information relating to the former county of Flint.To arrange lectures and discussions, and visits to buildings and sites of historical interest.

The principal activity is the performance of the Chester Mystery Plays. This is usually on a five year cycle. The plays were last performed in 2008

Education/Training for Children/young people

In the past year Members Attended over 40 incidents on behalf of the Walsh Ambulance Service across North Wales.Many emergencies were of a life threatening nature, some were fatalities while others resulted in lives saved.We Provide care and treatment pre-hospital which is not carried out by paramedics due to different skills of the Doctors involved.

Sustain continuity of radio programmes on 24/7 basis to patients and staff of Betsi Cadwalader University Health Board. Undertake ward visiting to patients to counter loneliness. Play music requests and provide news and information. Fundraising to maintain organisation including visiting events with an outside broadcast vehicle.

The object of the Association is to advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by:Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school;Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

The Group's primary function is to provide Associates with the opportunity to improve their standard of car driving to the level necessary to pass the IAM's Advanced Driving Test.

To provide grants for residents of Nercwys and Treuddyn who are under 25 for educational purposes.

Friends of Ysgol Pen Coch helps to raise funds to provide equipment and resources for the children attending the school (items that the LEA does not fund) i.e. Soundbeam, Special Play equipment.

Management of the clubs affairs in accordance with the governing document and generation of funds for the relief of the poor and needy or to or for such other charitable purpose, institution, society or object as the club shall in duly constituted meeting from time to time direct and the distribution thereof.

The charity brings people from all walks of life together, to sing, play and perform. It is an ideal setting for so many reasons, it helps people with Dementia Alzheimer?s speech impediments and much more. It brings the young and the elderly together through their mutual love of music, social inclusion for people from the more vulnerable backgrounds now feel valued and have a purpose.

We operate a weekly baby and toddler group session for parents and carers to attend during term time.
