Relief of poverty in Dodleston Parish

The Foundation activities are to provide supportive funding to: (i) People who wish to train in the field of midwifery and health visiting (ii) People who (and projects which) promote and advance the issues prevalent throughout the post-natal care period. This support will be focussed in the North Wales area.

There were no activities during this year. The trustees placed the spinney in the hands of local estate agent with instructions to sell to the highest bidder. Sold proceeds deposited in trust account at nat west bank

Fundraising to benefit all the children at Ysgol Trelogan.

We raise money through school and community based events to fund additional resources for Abermorddu school children.

Religious activities within the Diocese of St.Asaph.

We have been tidying up the cemetery and resetting some of the headstones and arranging with the local High School to create a memorial garden and wildlife garden and they are going to photograph and record the monumental inscriptions (MIs).

The trustee's has been work hard to find a suitable location for its core activities for the learning Arabic & Religious classes for the young children but we yet to find one. We have been working with local authorities to find a venue. We will continue to work hard to achieve our goal and work hard to educate our children to integrate with the local society.

Provision of community facilities for all age groups

The Club organises various fundraising activities in the local community including a sponsored walk and a street collection. Funds are also raised through quizes and concerts supported by members and friends. Donations by members supported by Gift Aid make up the balance.The three major areas of disbursment of funds are Local and UK charities, Rotary Foundation and other International Charities.

LEADERSHIP EVENTS AND GATHERINGS, YOUNG PEOPLE'S CONFERENCES, LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, HUMANITARIAN, AID WORK, ANTI-HUMAN TRAFFICKING & MODERN SLAVERY: AWARENESS RAISING AND TRAINING, SURVIVOR SUPPORT FROM RESCUE TO LONG TERM REHABILITATION. ADVOCACY AND RESEARCH. SUPPORTING EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT AND SCHOOLS.

Organize various fundraising activities ( bingo, fair, plant sale, etc..) to raise money for Ysgol-y-Waun primary school.

To carry on or promote the carrying on for the benefit of the community the provision and management of housing, accommodation and assistance for the relief and care of elderly persons suffering from the disabilities of old age or otherwise being in need.

The activities of the Charitable Trust are to make grants and donations to individuals, groups, community associations, local or national charities in Denbigh, St Asaph, Llandudno, Ruthin, Tattenhall, Menai Bridge and in the surrounding areas of North Wales and Cheshire. Particular emphasis is made on local communities and grassroots benefit.

Providing musical entertainment and diversion by means of brass band concerts on behalf of the local communities, schools, churches, and charitable organisations.Teaching the playing of brass instruments for all age groups within the local communities.

Provides tapes and memory sticks with local news and magazine items for blind and partially sighted listeners

Involved in Educational and Training projects in the locality of Bagillt, Flintshire. Currently provides a Community Garden project where training is given to all age groups - includes cultivation of plants and fruit trees and Bee Keeping.Also involved in Heritage walk development around historical and industrial sites in the locality.

For education/ training purposes

To provide a football tournement for local school children each year in memory of the John Mcbrien a former pupil.

WE ORGANIZE EVENTS WITH THE HELP OF PARENTS, TEACHERS AND CHILDREN OF YSGOL MAES GARMON TO RAISE MONEY TO BUY EQUIPMENT FOR SPECIFIC DEPARTMENTS IN THE SCHOOL OR FOR THE SCHOOL IN GENERAL.

To give disabled people (wheelchair users, visually impaired etc.) chance to get out and enjoy the countryside. To offer multi-media dance, recreation and wildlife projects.

The Charity?s Objects are to promote for the benefit of the public the conservation and protection of the Great crested newt in statutory protected sites and connected areas in North East Wales.
