Care and education of children for children aged 3 to 11 years in the form of Nursery Education and out-of school clubs. Nursery operates within the Early Years Foundation Stage requirements, focusing on learning through play. Wraparound care is provided for working parents in breakfast club and after-school club. Holiday club care for 3 to 11 year olds in school holidays.

The JCR is a student-run organisation at Van Mildert College, Durham University; it represents their interests and supports their personal development and education through wider student experience activities such as sports, societies, events and our Outreach projects where our dedicated student-volunteers work in our local community and fundraise to sustain their activities.

Durham Amateur Rowing Club is a community sports club specialising in rowing but also working with partner organisations to offer alternative watersports on the River Wear in Durham City. The Charity provides facilities and equipment to enable all users to access the sport from beginner level up to national standard.

Wrekenton Nou Camp is a grassroots sports club offering the young people in the community an opportunity to engage in football and fitness in a safe and encouraging environment. The club is a FA charter Standard Community club inviting young people of all abilities to participate from the age of 4 to 18 with the strategic plan to open up our services to everyone in the community.
