General Church work led by ministerial team. Lay members involved in running various groups. In 2010 a new structure covering 10 areas of church life were identified. Members encouraged to be involved to enable further development.Cornerstones has been open for eight years and many new activities and links with outside organisations made benefiting all ages in our community.

Legacare provides free legal advice and continued support to vulnerable people affected by life limiting/life threatening illness. We aim to remove stress and anxietyand provide peace of mind by delivering a professional service, sensitively, confidentially and quickly to people who would not be able to access such help because of financial/social constraints/isolation.

Our aim is to raise awareness of visual impairment through training packages. The package product gives a simulation of various eye conditions and the difficulties faced by visual impaired people in their everyday living. We also aim to assist visually impaired people living in the North East of England by awarding grants twice a year.

The objects of the charity are to advance religion in accordance with the Orthodox Jewish faith and for such other purposes as are recognised by English law as charitable.

We run Learning Hubs, Youth Clubs and Summer Schools in less affluent areas of Tyne and Wear to tackle educational inequality. We offer access to the internet, learning resources, a tutor and extra-curricular activities in a safe environment. Our motto is Young People Learning from Each Other. Our peer tutors, befrienders, summer school and club leaders are all trained volunteers.

ISLAMIC RELGIOUS ACTIVITIES

We provide the AQA unit award scheme in three fields, basic car/motorcycle maintenance, construction and hair & beauty to disadvantaged children aged between 12 and 18yrs. The students, will gain recognized certificates/qualifications to take them further with their future.We also incorporate life skills and team building within these units, again to give the students a good start to their future.

Previously registered as West End Refugee Service (WERS) 1077601. We provide holistic, trauma-informed support, IAA-registered advice, material aid, mentoring & capacity-building to help secure employment. Through our activities, we tackle poverty & exclusion, promote two-way integration, connect communities & challenge racism and xenophobia.

The main activities of the charity are the examination and licensing of deep sea pilots, the relief of poor mariners and their widows, and the provision of youth maritime training, the provision of maritime consultancy services, and the upkeep and conservation of ancient listed buildings.

Our charity is for the advancement of the Christian Religion for the public benefit including by the carrying on of the service of God in accordance with the Old and New Testaments of the Holy Bible as followed by those Christians forming part of the world-wide fellowship known as the "Plymouth Brethren Christian Church. OPERATION OF NEWBURN LEISURE CENTRE

Aim: Improving Mental Health through creativity. To use creativity as a tool to influence positive changes in people's mental wellbeing and attitudes towards mental health.To achieve this we run a service 4 days a week, this provides an innovative range of creative based services that are directed at improving and enhancing the quality of life, health and social integration of its members.

To promote community participation in healthy recreation in association football, for the public benefit to the communities of Birtley and surrounding areas.

Community Welfare Services provides relief of poverty and addresses food insecurity for disadvantaged families with young children, new mothers and elderly individuals, by providing assistance to promote well-being and sustenance. We run various targeted initiatives aimed at ensuring access to food and daily living essentials, ultimately making a positive impact on the lives

Foundation Futures CIO is a specialist teaching and youth service operating in the NE of England. We support young people to find out what they can do instead of what they can't. We support their families and the wider community to improve the lives of young people.

Foundations provide low cost, second hand furniture to people in need in Tyne and Wear. We collect furniture free of charge from residents and organisations in and around Tyne and Wear, diverting them from landfill. Foundations offer voluntary opportunities every weekday in our warehouse and with our driving team.

We have a preschool offering preschool education for children aged 2 to 5 in the local community.We have an out of school club offering childcare to school children aged 3 to 11 years old before and after school

Prudhoe Community Partnership is a development trust representing education, churches, local authorities, voluntary groups, local businesses and members of the public. The Partnership manages The Spetchells Centre, a purpose built community hub in Prudhoe and takes charitable initiatives for the good of the town.

To promote equality and diversity for the public benefit and in particular the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation and gender identity of those living in the North East of England.

Northern Roots promotes in excess of 100 concerts a year in reggae, soul, blues, in Newcastle and Gateshead.The organisation has since the late 198O's worked hard to attract a culturally diverse audience to our concerts. We have developed mentoring projects with refugees as well as work with young people in culturally diverse schools. .

GNE supports children ,young people, families and carers affected by disability or a barrier to learning by providing leisure activities, holiday schemes, training and work experience. We provide emotional, physical, practical and spiritual support we work towards educating society about the needs and positive attributes of young people with a disability or barrier to learning and their families
