Zayis Raanon provides help, support, and encouragement to vulnerable and at risk people in the Jewish Community in Gateshead.

The Grove Pre-School caters for 30 children aged 3+ 4 years, 5 mornings per week and 3 afternoons(offer 30hours entitlement). We also run a toddler group catering for 25 children per week, We fundraise for our equipment and employ 5 members of staff.

We want to eradicate disability discrimination & exclusion. Ensure an accessible & inclusive environment is provided for all, by ensuring people with varying impairments are involved at all stages of planning, policy making & review.Our volunteers, service users & workers are involved on an everyday basis through their own experiences on a variety of groups, focus groups, auditing, training etc

Provide opportunities for young people to train and play football.

Amateur Drama Group, presenting 10 plays yearly in our own theatre. We also hire the theatre and costumes to local, schools, colleges and groups.

Helping people find Life in all its fullness through: Weekly Sunday meetings, local discussion groups, "Streetworx" programme working with street friends / volunteers from all walks of life in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The Trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit. The main activities that the charity has undertaken for the public benefit are: weekly public Christian worship services which include Bible teaching and singing. Additionally, since refurbishing the Grove Chapel building in Bensham we have held a number of family-friendly community welcome mornings.

Evidenced to improve mental health, confidence, and social connection, our work promotes lifelong learning, self-expression, and uniting communities.

Lets Get Growing provides regular gardening therapy sessions for adults of all ages experiencing a range of mental and physical health difficulties, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, bi polar disorder, dementia and mild learning difficulties. Also one-off therapeutic garden workshops for a range of groups, including addicts in recovery, homeless people, carers, refugees & asylum seeekers.
