The Trustees are responsible for the administration of non-public funds to provide benefit for all cadets in the Wing. Activities supported include Corps Sports (athletics, soccer, swimming, cross-country, rugby, netball and hockey), Leadership Courses, Nijmegen Marches, BTEC, Corps Music, Adventurous Training, Duke of Edinburgh Award, Competition Shooting (including Bisley) and Cadet Camps.

Sarah's Star supports people living with incurable and palliative illnesses, as well as their families and health professionals in North East England. We provide a wide range of holistic therapies including meditation, massage, reiki, creative therapies, pilates and yoga. We also host death cafes and talks to normalise the conversation around palliative and end of life care.

The Sea Cadets provide youth education and training from the age of 9 to 18 with a bias towards waterborne activities.

Providing financial support for the relief of sickness and preservation of health (physical or mental) and the support of expectant and nursing mothers and the provision of assistance to people who are infirm or disabled living in Gateshead in particular including the support of families of such persons.

The charity makes interest free loans and grants to needy persons.
