Activities and learning for young people

Cramlington Table Tennis Club is about making table tennis accessible to as many people as possible regardless of their ability. Our object is the promotion of community participation in a healthy activity by the provision of facilities for playing table tennis.

To advance education of public in appreciation of music & in particular piano music through provision of recitals & concerts via such other charitable ways that trustees may determine from time to time. Our educational aims have been achieved through our continued promotion of piano recitals of classical music given entirely by professional artists of international renown.

Over the next ten years the Foundation's strategy will be to focus primarily on increasing access to enterprise for young people in the North East of England through the provision of funding for projects and activities that support young people to consider self-employment as a realistic career option.

To promote or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of children and young people living in the area of benefit.

To advance the education of the public in all aspects of music making and appreciation by the provision of tuition, materials, performance opportunities, public concerts,lectures and recitals.

The Military WAGS Choir Catterick Garrison routinely rehearses, and performs in public.The charity's Trustees are satisfied that the choir's activities are in accordance with its stated objectives (the study and practice of choral music to foster public knowledge and appreciation of such music) and pass both the 'benefit' and 'public' aspect of the Charity Commissions' guidance.

Education and Social Activities based at the Gateshead Centre.

Makes grants to institutions in the UK and overseas which advance religion in accordance with the orthodox Jewish faith.

Classes, both teaching and social, throughout the area for all ages and abilities. Competative festival annually. Demonstration team available. Many social functions. Teachers available for schools, clubs & societies who would like taster sessions or classes.

The charity owns and administers an almshouse situated on Cross Keys Lane, Low Fell, Gateshead, Tyne & Wear. The almshouse comprises four flats each with a bedroom, kitchen, living room, and bathroom. There is a common entrance hall and stairway, and a garden to the rear of the property. The almshouse accommodates four single residents who are of limited means.

DANCE KALEIDOSCOPE DESCRIPTIONFormed 1964. Charity 1977 Reg.No. 516104To give training and performance opportunities to young dancers hoping to work in the entertainment field. The Company members prepare scenery, lighting, costumes, administration for productions. Bi-annual European tours, ballets and musicals. Support to charities.

We provide facilities and promote activities in educational, social and cultural fields. Although located in a small village within the Gateshead metropolitan area, our catchment area for users and visitors extends more widely, which is reflected in the next section.

To promote for the public benefit the conservation, protection and improvement of the local physical and natural environment in the villages of Crawcrook and Greenside by:- Mobilising community volunteers to undertake local environmental action- Raising local awareness of environmental issues

Monday at 7.30pm Divine Service, Monday & Thursday 6pm to 7pm Spiritual Healing, Wednesday (1st of the month) 7.00pm Lyceum Group, Wednesday 7.00pm Members Developing Class, Thursday at 7.30pm Public Open Circle. Thursday at 7.30pm Special Service once a month, Saturday 10am to 4pm Workshops every two months.
